Melo actually seemed actively upset in the post game interviews tonight. I think Phil is finally in his head. If the trade is good for Melo, I hope it can be good. I'm really not thrilled with the way Phil has embarrassed Melo. It's not gonna be good for us attracting FA in the future. The only upside is the 2017 draft is deep as heck. I think it might be best for the Knicks to just reset, but I wish they would have done better by Melo. He's been a good soldier for the franchise for years through a lot of BS. He deserves to go out better than this. And he's very well liked around the league. This won't be forgotten by other players. ¿ △ ?

I'd hate to see Melo waste the rest of his career (does he realise he only has maybe 3 or 4 more shots at the playoffs as a meaningful contributor and he's on course to miss this years?) on a rebuilding project. I don't like the trade but I can live with it if we find a third team to get rid of Crawford and get a first for Redick. Of course after years telling us Melo has no value and is untradeable and is over-rated, as soon as he's with another team the media will do their usual about turn and start saying he's great and what a bargain the clips got and how stupid we were for not getting more. |

Yet you post asking what Wojo and Stein said on your next post. Who watches the NBA? Here is some insight. Phil calls out Melo for being a "Ball stopper'. (When we are winning!!) Phils boy does a piece saying organazation thinks Melo is what? Phil met with Melo and then confirmed talks with other teams come out. Cavs reject Melo for Love offer. Clipps confirm talks but come out and say they wont trade big 3. And have you watched any Knick games this year? Clue, Phils signing for 17M is not doing so well. Phil blows up a 54 win team and we have won how many games since? About to do how many blow ups under him? Dont get how Phil cannot be held accountable for some of his mistakes? I get it, no one is perfect, but when a guy is throwing other people under the bus, he becomes a bigger target for me. There's no telling who knows what with these writers but i guarantee you not one of them know everything and only know what the Knicks want them to know. |

Everyone was saying there's no way any team would trade for JR with all his on court antics and off court issues but as soon as he went to Clev and of course they were winning those same people were saying we got robbed in that trade. |
