Did Karl have any excuses for his Sonics first round choke job? For the fact this his teams went nowhere after the Melo trade? Karl was a very good regular season coach, but he couldnt cut it in the playoffs. Guess Karl thinks blaming Melo will paper that over.

Nuggs were 2-2 against the Sonics that year in the regular season.
Saw an interview with karl and he said Chicago reneged on a deal that would have traded Kemp for Pippen after that season.
I don't remember much about that series only that Mutumbo lying on the floor clutching the basketball and laughing with joy over the victory.

Karl had good teams with good players. His playoff record is woeful when you look at Melo's Denver years and Seattle had so many let downs. That upset by Deke's Nuggets was insane

I dont know if they get edited out, but I never hear any mea culpas in-dispersed with his non-stop slamming of his former players. I read that quote about Martin and Melo not having fathers, with Karl knowing all they went through growing up. That's F'ed up.

The league has been so good to him, what a ****ty way to go out.

He sucks. Not a good person who has plenty of demons and a past as a young man where he made a lot of mistakes. He had no business going there in his book. I hope he gets no interviews to promote it.
