What is wrong with 4 boards,7 assists and 1.2 steals per 36 from a back up PG? He is plus player on both Offensive and Defensive Win shares - we could have done a lot worse

I am not a fan of his but as a back up this is a good deal but its still a 1yr rental with zero upside. So the knicks will likely go into next summer looking for both a starter and backup

- He's on a 1 year contract and he'll be playing for his next.
- He's on a 1 year contract and comes off the cap for Westbrook.
- He's on a 1 year freakin' contract.

Where's nixluva...see I'm VERY optimistic of this team phil out together

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

LG was never a PG. Unless Phil can somehow work some magic and pick up a better back up at the 2. Galloway would probably be penciled in. But dont know if you remember LG's horrible shooting last year? This, in itself, does not change LT and LG probably getting signed.

Good pickup for the knicks and you can move Rose to the 2 spot at times during the game.. I like it.
