Looks like we stole Booker from the Suns.

Yeah, what's Booker doing on there.

Same name, different guy.

Google "Devin Booker, Clemson"

Or "Devin Booker, French league MVP"

If they just put "Jordan Hill's cousin Devin" they could have saved a lot of confusion.

You know I gonna spin wit it

First,I have no idea of the competition he's played against overseas, and he was D II in college.

The guy has some legit moves in the post with some length and jumping ability, but I did not see a single highlight in which he even took a traditional midrange J, and I know nothing of his ability on D.

Would like to see what he can do against some legitimate NBA size and athleticism, but the fact that they couldn't find some jumpers to show you tells you he has some severe limitations.

Saw the highlights too and was really impressed! Did you see the way he attacked the rim and finished strong on pick n rolls! He also has low post moves. I love the way this kid attacks. Again, like you said, how good is the talent he's playing against here, but he looked like a beast against them. Curious to see how he plays in SL. From what I read, he was one of the best College Div 2 players a year ago (wasn't eligible to play Div 1 bc of something about playing in Egypt). Reminds me a little bit of Ronnie Seikaly.

Foul shooting is in the mid 50's, which is not great for a guy you expect to see on the line a lot, but he really has some old school technique in the post. I know they are highlights, but its the type of movement you want to see from KP someday.

Wonder if he's just SL filler, or whether we actually want to look at him.

It's good to see all the former westchester knicks getting a chance to play in Summer League. I guess they were really building something in Westchester.

Just Seraphin earning some extra money bird dogging.

Wish Nando de Colo was on the roster.

This also has Hornacek as the coach.

Yeah...he is coaching, which I like.

I see the SL as a being important for Early, even if it is only SL.

Not sure how many more shots he's going to get to prove himself (excuse the pun).

Early isn't signed for next season, is he? He may well be playing for his NBA career this summer league...

Qualifying offer...I don't know when they have to decide on him.

He's worked himself into being marginal player, and he wasn't taken while Hornachek was coaching here.

Thin ice...perhaps the only thing in his favor is that Phil drafted him, and how thin our roster is at this point.

What a shtty looking SL team. No imagination. The youngest player is 23 and our team resembles a dleague team--who cares. This isnt forward-looking thinking--this is a waste of time. Is Dejuan Summers going to be part of the Knicks SL program in his 40's--he must have a record here.

I would invite PJ Hairston to summer league and take a look at him. He has talent but is hasn't been that great in the league shooting wise. He's been a decent defender, just hasn't shot it well since entering the league. There was rumors Phil liked him in the draft a couple years ago. It's a low risk high reward as a cheap buy low option if he pans out.

So I take it that you're not on the Souleyman train, yet.

No one ever does.

Those games aren't exactly highly rated.

I LOVE watching SL games. I actually think this team has some interest since some of these guys are gonna get an invite to Training Camp. The lack of a big sexy name like we had last year doesn't mean there's no talent on this team.

There are always hardcore fans, but Briggs is suggesting the games will be much lower rated because the Knicks don't have a younger, lottery ticket type 'prospect' on their roster (I'd counter to say i think some hardcore fans are interesting in Hernagomez, but that is beside my point).

The point is the bar is pretty low to begin with.

I like watching them to see if there is some hidden talent that fell into our lap.

Rarely happens, but it is still something that intrigues me.

Galloway a few years ago...NDour(sp?)last year (even though we did not keep him)

Really interested to see Plumlee and Baker, and also Kuzmic (he is also in Las Vegas with a team- if he looks legit, we might have to take action). Has Labeyrie improved his game, does Early look like a player who has been in the NBA for two years...there are enough stories to keep me interested.

Would have been great if Hernangomez was playing, but he is working with better players in Europe than he would see here, so I figure he is better off overseas at this point.

I love watching the summer league games. I think probably 2-3 guys have a shot at getting a roster spot from this group. Also, the Knicks probably bring a couple of guys to camp with the plan of protecting them from the d league draft. I wish they were playing Vegas also.

Older player...will be 29 in late July.

Wish he was a better shooter...seems to play an NBA style of ball. I was surprised at how athletic he looked finishing with some of his dunks-pretty effortless for a guy listed at 5'11"/6'.

You figure that Phil might be hoping he is like Prigioni or Huertas in LA- a guy who can step in and play some effective minutes from day one.

If you guys ever want to know how I played in my low 30's (10 yrs ago), you are looking at it. For over 10 years, I used to say the knicks are missing a PG like me. Well, you found it in solo. As you can see why my achilles is shot, too many first step moves, going left or right....once you learn that first step move, you fall in love with it so much because the defender can't keep up. I like trying to make people fall too.....And I was usually the starter and closer in iso plays (without over dribbling like Melo) Very hard to stay in front of somebody when they have a quick first step and a jumper. Same skill set and size. I agree, he'a a beast that should be picked up on somebody's summer league team. And if you want proof, I'm still killing at 43.....but after two games, my production drops (lol)....

lol thought the same thing when I saw this video. It made me smile. He has the complete "Old Man/Old School game repertoire with all the fakes and low post moves with great footwork. The type of crafty moves that require no athleticism but you can always get your shot off anyway down low. Seems like he has a high B-ball IQ and that's why Phil must love him. Makes you root for a kid like this.

Oh man yeah I love that stuff!!! I've been joking with my sons for years doing that stuff to them. IMO more players need to learn that stuff and they could extend their careers for a LONG time. I just scoot down the court at a good pace but not too fast and then I get to work. LOL I would actually be interested to see this kid on the D League team.

I'm trying to learn these old school moves. I'm almost there. Mentally I think I'm in my 20's , until those knees start to flare and your feet feel like cement.

If Zach Randolph can have an NBA career, why can't this guy?
