i know it may be water on the bridge but at OSU turner was hated in the locker room -- prima donna. maybe he's grown up
he's had a few slices of humble pie since coming to the nba. i wager that playing for stevens helped him with the team-first mentality.
Good pointHe's certainly intriguing w his length and he's actually a very good interior passer. That's the kind of smarts I'm hoping the team is looking for. I'm not a AA bashir (I think he'd be fine coming off the bench) but that was the one area of his game which was really lacking -- total black hole
well i grew to hate afflalo. i had no idea how selfish he was and how incredibly inept he was on defense. i thought he was a good contract stopgap but he really hurt the knicks out there. and his attitude was horrible too. a sulker. can't stand that.
i have been advocating evan turner since midseason when i watched a couple of celtics games. your assessment is exactly mine, and i will only add that i am not so much interested in the shooting skills of turner, which seems to be a deal breaker for others. i thought the point of the triangle was passing, cutting, and finishing close to the basket more than driving and kicking out.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
