I like Clarkson too. He has an attacking instinct. We don't have enough guys that attack. I'm not sold on Batum either. Everyone wants him now but forgot when he forgot how to play his last year in Portland. I don't want a guy like that.
I dont watch Butum much and it does seem like his shot is underwhelming. Thing I like about him is rebound and assists.
his ws48 is down to a putrid .077 - we better not overpay for this guy.
This whole damn FA outside of Durant is overpay and every PG's agent got the Knicks circled as being desperate for their services.

Ubfortunately I feel like they are. Especially if the plan is for Melo to stay and for them to make a playoff push. Conley can get more than Melo money and investing that into a PG who at his best was a top 6-10 PG who is in his 30's is insane.
The best scenario is to steal a young RFA (Barnes, Bazemore, Crabbe), and tank for 1-2 more seasons to take adavantage of cheap contracts. Go young with KP and get him long term help.
