Yeah i think Phil wants to keep AA to. I know we give him a tough time on here but he's really not a horrible guy to have, i just think we expected so much more from him. If we get a legit point guard and a big man that can do the things that KOQ/Seraphin don't do then i think we'd value AA more or even get a new SG that can be a 3 and D guy and move AA to the 6th man spot we'd be much more happy with him.
AA is an avg player and he doesn't do the little things that you would expect a veteran to do so why keep him if you can get a younger vet who could play comparably the same and eventually be better? It's not about getting a better pg it's about AA not passing, defending, or having a offensive game to carry his short comings.
I don't know if Sac want him but if they did value him and we're willing to give up Ben, Phil would be silly not to do it. Especially when there is a chance AA opts out.
