You lose defensively and offensively there is a reason Jimmer is in the D-League. Any team in the league could sign him and they have not. If the Knicks let Jose go and he could be paid what Jimmer would be paid - there would be plenty of takers.

This. Also, I have watched a few Westchester games and Jimmer is usually good for one of those Hardenesque highlights where he stands and does nothing as a guy goes by him to score. He might get a shot but he is available to all teams in the d l for a reason.

The people who want jimmer, have not watch this guy play other than highlights. This guy makes calderone defense look like he's bruce bowen.

No one in the D league plays defense all that much, which is why most of the players that get called up are decenct defenders, not scorers.

jimmer passes the ball as a last resort, and if you think AA is a ISO player, jimmer will go 1 on 5 on any given possesion.

Nobody knows about Jimmer more than the knicks. Not sure why knick fans continue to think they know more about Jimmer vs the guys that see him and work with him every game....every practice. Its obvious they feel Jimmer is not an upgrade over Jose.....or he would've been called up by now. Knick fans are very entertaining....most think they are better than nba executives and professionals by looking at highlights and youtube clips. Lmao

Can Jose run an NBA offense? Please be honest

Can anyone coach the triangle except for Phil Jackson?

Can the triangle be successful with anyone except the 2 most dominant 2's of perhaps all time?

Its not like we're winning games right now. Slow starts is on the starters - and Jose is in there because supposedly he can run an NBA offense.

I don't know what Jimmer can give us. Maybe nothing more than a few laughs.

Maybe our front office has promised him a role next season, and want him to groom himself in Westchester and learn how to run the triangle.

I personally would like us to try something. Jose gave us more than I expected- but expectations were low.

I don't think you get rid of him and have addition by subtraction.

But at some point this year stops being about this year, and starts being about next year.

As such, I might go with Gallo & Grant exclusively for a stretch. If we lose by 20, so be it.

At some point, and its likely soon, this year stops being about this year, and starts being about next year and the years after...

The only way I want jimmer on this team is if we give him the ball and let jimmer do what he dose best. If we do what every other team has done and put him at the back up 2 spot and make him stand around the three point line it's worthless... Jose is too old to be a pg in this league he can not run a NBA offense in today's NBA where the pg has to be able to break down the defense with dribble penatration .

If anything Jose should be the back up 2 guard and play the role every team has tried to make jimmer play ... Stand around the three point line and hit your open shots... That's about all Jose is good for now...

Jimmer = huge upgrade to Jose who is the worst starting pg in the NBA right now. There is no way jimmer can be worse then Jose..

And because Jose is so bad it's worth giving jimmer a shot. How bad can it be we already have the worst starting pg in the NBA .
