Just you. Grant has the ball with about 6 seconds left; a 4-point lead and the Celtics are out of time outs.

Even if intercepted, would take more than 6 seconds for the pass to land and to be advanced up the floor to score a 3. Seconds were as valuable as points in that moment.

If the ball was overthrown, the celtics would have gotten the ball under their own basket. Hit a quick 3, intercept the inbounds pass or 5 sec call and they have a chance to win the game. Win the game in the nickoftime

I don't think this is right. They get the ball under our basket

still no reason to throw that. what if the pass got blocked? what was there to gain?

it was play to put the game away. Also Bos is playing to beat the textbook/conservative play. Grant's pass was perfect and also to our most athletic player in open court. I also thought it was just an instinctive play. I didnt review it (now I might) but its possible DWill had more separation than what we saw then Grant threw that pass. I forget who was trailing the play but maybe he just made it look closer than it did?

Closest Celtic was at half court when he released it and it landed just below the foul line.

Not a big deal at all.

Tonights game against the Nets is another good opportunity for Jerian to gain more confidence. I really look forward to this game to see if he can gain some consistency. Also would like to see Gallo get going again too. We really need these young guards to raise their level of play.

CP3 did try to do something similar but in a more crowded situation. You can see Paul trying to jump in the air to try to pass the ball but go it stolen.

Jerian is a talented guy and he can make all the passes. His only issue is his confidence and understanding of this system. Jerian made that pass on instinct cuz he's always looking down court for a streaking teammate to pass to. He's got the best court vision on the team and when he finally figures out the offense his natural talent will take over.

Thank you.
