I am starting to wonder if he has some sort of health issue- when was the last time he was seen? Has he been attending games?

Read my latest thread. I credit Phil for ordering him to set a 9 men Rotation

thats almost as bad as the posters who say that melo did not change, he just has better players now.

Melo changed in part because he plays with quality players he can trust. It's not the only reason but he doesn't become this player with last year's roster. Sound reasonable enough?

not really but thats fine. At least he changed.

So many people always said you get Melo a quality supporting cast who can make shots and his game changes for the better. He was an MVP candidate in 2012/2013 and has adjusted this year as well. For those who said that, it was pretty much spot on. For those who never liked Melo, they will naturally say he just changed but it has nothing to do with his supporting cast. Funny how that works.

Then why was Melo playin like Old Melo especially in 4th quarters as we blew every lead with Melo taking all the shots vs the usual double/triple teams? Why did Fisher call out Melo? Why did Phil called out the team for not sticking to the system?
Why was Melo not passing to these same guys? Why when he got called out recently did he do a complete 180, started moving the ball for 4 quarters, started moving without the ball? Coincidently these same guys started hitting shots

because at the same time Fisher told the other players to become much better players so that they should be deserving of melopasses and VOILA

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Yeah It's not just one thing. Melo passing has to go along with his teammates moving and presenting themselves as god targets to be passed to. If his teammates don't hustle and cut hard, set good picks etc. Then he won't have the same passing targets and it all ends up with him having to take tough shots.

Affalo, Lance, Williams, KP, Gallo, Lopez are all good examples of this.

Who the hell cares if Phil wants to talk to us??? LOOK AT WHAT HE'S DONE WITH THIS TEAM!!! If these players keep developing and growing as players and as a team, this is going to be a team to reckon with from here on! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

All we should be saying is THANK YOU PHIL.

I think Phil deserves a lot of credit. He is letting the product on the court speak for him.

I actually like every player on this roster, even sasha. Im to thrill about the way these olayers get used, but looks like fisher and his staff is starting to snap out of the coma/time capsule they were in.

SO basically your only interested in the results, not the process of how they are achieved.
If you ever learned something from repetition and then it becomes instinctive, you'd understand.
If you ever learned something and then had to assimilate, you'd understand.
If you ever had to get over a long injury and then get your grove back, you'd understand.

I think you have but are not thinking about what teams have to do. Talent infusions and team building is a process. Knicks are trying to do both this year. Once the base of talent and culture have been set, it will be easier for this team.

Phil is not just involved, he is everywhere!!!! His foot print is all over this franchise. Triangle is not easy. Melo and Jose getting their grove back took 30 games. Rookies hit walls. Getting a rotations without alienating takes time.
