You are absolutely right though, 25 games is just a small sampling. However Portland, with a.much larger sampling, did not even entertain him at those salary numbers. We are also seeing his minutes diminished by the people that have closest contact with his ability on day to day basis. Not that posters on this site are not able to judge his ability but the coaching staff seems to be and will be better judges. However, if he results as just a bench player, the.point will soundly be made. Unless you assumed 16m is the going rate for a bench player?

Although, I believe he would have chosen the Bucks regardless if Knicks would have offered an equal package. Still believe the Lopez money should have been spent on a stronger bench. Specially a couple of players from last year that played well and were let go due to cap room. Hindsight.....

Knee jerk response? I doubt that. Plan "B" maybe. For the money Phil got Ropez, a 27 year old and KOQ still young at 25 years old.

Can we really evaluate this after 25 games and call it? 11-14 is not terrible given we are playing two rookies and have 9 new players with two vets coming off big layoffs due to injury.

Greg Moneroe would have been a great PF, or in tandem with a RoPez type center.

Phil likes big players. KOQ looked like he ran last nite!

Agreed.

And I'd also question the use of "overpriced" and I don't know how you could justify using Rolo money on a stronger bench. Knicks needed starting players, especially at either C or PF considering the draft of KP. You don't like Rolo, then who else?

Rolo may not be a starer on a championship team - Phil's first choices were DJordan and Aldridge - but IMHO he fits next to KP for now and plays D first (much more important than the better qualities of the likes of Monroe) and is on a manageable contract for the next 3 years, very tradable for a better piece.

If DeAndre was Phil's first choice, no reason Phil can't roll the dice again on the likes of Drummond; it's a fat chance scenario but this is what we need to expect of Phil and his Juice Card. And if I had to pick between DeAndre and Drummond, I'd go Andre all day.

uh no. Aldrich and Lou are not starter or even regular bench rotational guys. Please, that's a big stretch.

Less of a stretch but more of a comment of what level of play Lopez has shown thus far. I do hope your right. Hopefully Lopez will prove me wrong and have a productive four years.

That will depend on whether he's given the role he's always had. I'm sure he'd be a very efficient 10 or 11 PPG player again if he had the same role he's always had. It's up to Fisher and Phil whether they want him to be a 45% 7 PPG or a 55% 11 PPG player.

Monroe is at 16/10- his usual numbers...Bucks are still 10-15- they don't accumulate GS's victories by beating them.

He had a good game tonight...when he can average what he gave you tonight, get back to us.

He did not want to come here...not much more to say about it.

You didn't even want Monroe- you were having a nervous breakdown over the prospect of us signing him. Then you did your usual flip flop, then had a nervous breakdown because we didn't sign him. he's had no positive impact on the under achieving Bucks all season, but because they just beat the Warriors you suddenly have another nervous breakdown.

It's easy to criticise moves but just remember you wanted us to trade down in the draft, so likely we would have ended up with Justin DNP Anderson and Kaminsky rather than KP, so try some humility.

There's no flip flop. I didn't want Lopez and I wanted the Knicks to draft kp. I wasn't high on Monroe but felt he was the best of what it seemed like we would be able to ge

Hahahahahaha you flip flopped aqll over in the draft and you didn't even like KP in the beginning and i remember saying this to you many many times. You wanted Frank Kaminsky, you wanted WCS, you were all over the board in the draft.

I agree.....you wanted everybody so that when we picked one player, you can pull up an old thread and say, See I told you I wanted him.

There was really only a few people in this forum that spoke highly of KP. Mostly because nobody thought we would be picking 4th. But once we found out, you was all over trading that pick and move down to select Frank the tank. We've had discussions comparing these two.

What happened to the long debates between OK4 and Towns? I remember pulling my hair out explaining to you why Towns was a better player than OK4 (I knew OK4 college stats was fools gold)........lol......It's all good man, nobody is perfect and we were all guessing.....I just guessed right this year ......Next year I might be completely wrong. Like Simons will not be rookie of the year.....lol
