It will always be natural for the average fan, and young fans especially, to disprove of a lesser-known player. International players tend to be that. Only hardcore fans with extensive basketball knowledge and ability to form their own opinion of a player they have not seen in live action based on scouting reports will possibly approve of this type of pick. Generally speaking, most in this forum will do their homework, but most fans in general won't put in the effort.
My fear is it will be "natural" to selfie your reaction to post on YouTube and/or watch yourself.
Actually, the truly scary part about this is the fact that if KP really does turn out to be a super solid player, these two will still make up a bunch of crap to justify their actions. They'll never admit they were wrong.
C'mon, that wasn't even a genuine moment. That was a made-for-YouTube/ESPN moment. Who know what they were really thinking at that moment other than to draw attention to themselves. They got what they wanted. Giving them more attention and extending their 15 mins will be giving them what they want and they'd say anything to get it.
Unfortunately, for a lot of freaks out there, made-for-YouTube/ESPN moments ARE genuine moments to them. Scary, huh?
