At the same post game conference, he praise the hell out of KP, who actually had 1/10th of the game dwill had. So i actually think there's a little more to his reduction in minutes then his over all play

I don't take it that way. Every player is treated a bit differently, depending on their weaknesses and expectations and what they have been working on in practice and what the coaches have told them to work on.

Dwill is a vet who needs prodding and needs to be doing the defensive and smart things on the court.

Don't take sound bites to heart too much

I'm not, but I am concern about how they actually want to use him, that's clearly the difference maker, for him and the team. I think it's extremely important to put him in the right role or you won't benefit from his skill set

I agree. Not the type of player to rein in. Watching 'Nothing but Knicks' just now and they played a clip of Fisher addressing the team during preseason. He was talking about the system and how it creates open shots--that guys will be put in a position to shoot the ball and that if open, he wants them to take the shot. That's comforting to know--I hope that esp. applies to D-Will. It's a must. Like you said--in order to utilize this guy's skillset to the fullest, you gotta just wind him up and let him go. That's when we'll see him at his best. Any attempt to rein him in will be detrimental. I want this guy loosey-goosey out there ready to score that ball in a variety of ways. That's his game.

I venture to say that the coach is inept. As imperfect Fisher is as a coach/human, he demands perfection from SOME of the players; particularly on the defensive end

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Our offense tends to go south--Williams should play 24+ minutes.

When the Knicks went stale and didn't score for 4+ minutes, and Melo and Calderon looked gassed and off, Williams would have been the right antidote. Cleveland has stayed in the game by fast break -

Melo has 9 boards! Yet let Williams play.

So he can foul another 3 point shooter?

Said before the game that I thought it was about matchups, Fisher wanting to go big, and Hubie said as much during the game.

I actually think they needed him last night. Nobody was shooting the ball well and we couldn't score. The guys on the floor were just praying Melo could get going which is rarely a winning formula for this team. Give him the ball, stand, watch, and pray.

Fisher is phucking up big time with this. Gotta play Seraphim less and DWill more for sure. Maybe go small ball and give Seraphim's minutes to Early instead

G-G, KOQ, DWill, and Early for Milwaukee game speed blitzing again. That worked for 72 points from the bench, WTF is Fisher doing?!?

I wouldnt mind seeing more PT for Williams as well. Seraphin had some good moments, but I wonder if Admundson would be a better fit for the second unit. They can run with him on the floor better than Seraphin and his defense is ok.

You will not win games scoring in the 80's, and I thought the #1 goal was to run everyone out of the building.

Why can't the coaching staff see this, it seems like Fisher just tries to give everyone minutes so they don't feel left out. But you know whats the worst thing fisher does besides botching the rotation, he never ever lets the opposing team match up to us, were always matching up to them and that's when he goes digging all down to the end of the bench mid way through the 1st qtr for answers.

I hope he'll regain the Milwaukee game touch he had with rotations, since you know...we're facing Milwaukee again!

I agree with this mentality. I would use my players I feel can speed up the tempo. D Will needs minutes and freedom just like Melo and KP get. 24 minutes this guy will give us 12-15 points some rebounding and energy up and down the court. Look what he did at Milwaukee and pre season. Take away the Milwaukee game and were 1-3 avg under 100 a game. Guys like Jose and Sasha have been given a great chance--now its time to look elsewhere for output size and athletic ability.

I don't even fisher himself could even answer a Question About why Lance Thomas is getting more minutes then d will, it's not talent it's not footwork it's not rebounding it's not like Lance is a good passer. He def can't score in transition like d will. I guess you could say Lance is a better defender... But then wtf is Jose doing on the floor over grant if your playing someone because of defense

I've seen enough of Lance,Jose, and Sasha to know all three should be riding the pine... It's pretty insulting to a talent like dwill that a uncoordinated scrub like Lance is getting minutes over him...same goes for grant he must be furious watching Jose not play defense and not set up the team

I think that Dwil is used to being insulted.
