It should be both exciting and we should have a pretty good "product" on the floor.
I think we'll know by 1/3 into the season how good this team is, and then we can make some noise and get the chemistry flowing nicely in the 2nd half.
I'm mostly looking forward to a more team oriented game and watching Grant and KP develop.
The way the team is constructed, I do think we will surprise people, by the 2nd half.
this. +1
Well said
I'm pretty much in the same boat. Dumping the malcontents/stiffs/dregs (read: JR, Chandler, Bargs, etc.) was a key part of what will make this team exciting to watch. Stoked for Zinger and Grant to blossom together.
"There's something happening here....what it is ain't exactly clear..."
i have not seen grant and kp on the floor playing with one another enough to foresee them blossoming together. it would be nice if we saw more of them on the floor at the same time in the next several games though. seems like grant will come off the bench and that kp will start. not a whole lot of overlap there, although they are clearly the future.
grant may be hindered by a sketchy jumper and an inability to draw fouls.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
