That should be a good game. However, I don't think Russ is being used correctly thus far, lakers need to give that kid the ball and allow him to make play. That other kid who actually shares the back court with Russell is too trigger happy in my opinion and is not a PG.

Good breakdown, When I watch him play I see his ceiling as mid tier starting PG. If he could be a legit threat from the outside he can reach that ceiling , the other stuff you mentioned, not sure if they are that realistic but I agree with the analysis.

I see him getting B grades across the board which isnt bad. Agree with him developing into mid tier pg. Doing a reverse dunk in a gym at 6'4-5' doesnt make you an athletic freak. He was blocked at rim in SA sl game, Simmons meanwhile was exploding upward. Like the pick/kid but keeping it real

So this means he's not that athletic? Blocking is all timing, ask nate robinson, who is the shortest guy in the league at one point, and would block centers.

Funny thing is that if you didn't know any of the players on the court you'd have thought that Grant was the #2 pick and Russell was picked in the mid 20s.

Knicks also made Clarkson look very ordinary, after he had looked pretty good the other day against Philly.

He's looked pretty ordinary in his SL games so far.

Holfresh and callmened have also brought up his inability to go right, and that was illustrated today on a couple of occasions.

People are going to start calling him "DeApple" Russell because of his turnover propensity.
