He was a locker room problem, under performed and was a malcontent. The guy was paid to be a leader and a locker room presence. That doesn't include his illnesses that caused him to miss weeks at a time and drop weight at a rate faster than any other human on the planet.

Chandler got traded because he quit on the team and did not care any more. I liked Chandler, still do , but it was not going to work with him over here any more.

I liked Chandler. Now that I know his character I can't stand him. Guy was almost a max player.

this sounds entirely plausible and may well have happened that way. If Monroe thinks he is on Jordan's level he needs to check in on the real world at some point.

Phil did the right thing. He knows we needed D more than anything and so he couldn't have Monroe ahead of better players. Then he locks up RoLo even before getting the final word from Jordan. The Phil doubters can't knock that tactic.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Robin Lopez was our fourth choice behind DJ, LA and GM - precisely because he is not that good a player. 7 footers still get paid. This is the NBA.

This isn't about Tyson. RoLo is a solid player. He can actually score in the post!!! He's mechanical but effective. He'll fit in the system and he's real long. He has a 9'5" standing reach.
Phil still has more work to do.

Lets hope & pray Robin Lopez & Afflalo puts some toughness onto Knicks
especially help getting KP bulked up whom will need MSG Gym fulltime
or 24x7 asap
