the dude is ridiculous!

The reasons people don't like Lebron is for things he does off the court not on it. Now the people that don't like him for what he does on the court are the people that are idiots.
Im an idiot then. Do you remember his dramatic flailing in pain in his neck when he ran into Tyson? Looked like he might have to come out on a stretcher. Good for a flagrant. Oh... wait... 7 minutes have gone by and now Lebron is dunking from the foul line.

Yea.. Im an idiot. Im offended by his flopping. The best player in the NBA cant just play the game? Watching Lebron is like watching the world cup. Sure.. your seeing the best soccer players in the world. And the worst acting at the same time. Sucks.

Ehhh...If flopping is the only blip on his record he's ahead of the game when you compare that to the on and off court track records of MJ, Kobe, Bird, Magic, etc...As far as flopping is concerned, its an issue in all sports when players try to sell a call..Wade does it, Harden, Starks...football players, etc. Not a reason for some to hate a guy but to each his own...

agree.... but Lebron has taken it to a new level. Plus the leaving Cle to play with superfriends. Would MJ, Bird or Magic have left their teams to go play with other 'stars' so they could more easily win?

As for the flopping I won lie.. it really came down to that Knick series and the Tyson elbow to his neck. I mean it wasnt a flop, he was laying on the floor clutching his neck like he needed to be taken off with a stretcher. I was like my god, this is terrible... trainers were out looking at him. Tyson got a flagrant. Then Lebron got up and went back to playing at his normal incredible level. Its one thing to try and get calls, its another to fake pain, flopp around on the floor, have trainers come out, get a flagrant then resume normal play. Lack of integrity.

You will never hear me say he's not the best of our generation, but he's not sniffing MJ or Bird. Those guys had the greatest killer instincts. Sorry... I just cant stand the guy.

Fair enough...Paul Pierce pulled the same act when he left in a wheelchair and returned moments later..lol. Its hard to compare LeBron and the mentality of today's athlete with yester-years athletes...its a different game in more ways than one.

I think LeBron saw the big three in Boston and how they were assembled and knew they only was to beat them was to form his own big three and he was right because they beat the Celts and he won his 'chips. At the team it seemed like it would be the latest trend. It would be one thing if LeBron went to Miami and rode the coat tails of DWade to a chip, but that wasn't the case. LeBron went to southbeach, was clearly the best player and took over the team and won finals MVP's....

BTW, Barkley and Malone pretty much did the same thing late in their careers. Barkley went to a championship team in Houston to join Dream and Clyde in an attempt to get a chip and nobody criticized him. Mailman joined the Lakers who were the dominant team at the time to win a chip and nobody critiqued them....At the time neither Barkley or Malone were the best player on their new teams and it was obvious why they joined those teams. If people critiques LeBron for that, then Barkley and Malone deserve criticism too, regardless if they were at the end of their careers....

Also, Oscar Robertson was traded to the Bucks to win a chip with Kareem...This was before Free Agnecy but the trade was for obvious reasons....

all fair points... I do disagree w/ the Barkley/Malone thing. Chasing a title in the twilight of your career is different than leaving your hometown in your prime to build your own superfriends... but you nailed it man. Im 42 years old and officially old fashioned! Im too old school I guess. The Boston big 3 were built by Ainge. The Heat big 3 where players colluding to set up a winning situation where they all have yet to prove they cant do organically.

Hey... Im like Were the Millers cat... "Lebron? Yea.. shes likes primadonnas who will never be as good as Jordan"

"winning is more fun... then fun is fun" -Thibs
