The bar has been set so low for next season, that there a fans that are okay with marginal improvement, then they talk about changing the culture, and that we have to take season by season.

Management has 3 yrs in any sport to see massive improvements, everyone here knows that, but think phil and fisher are an exception to the rules because they came in with ZERO experience in the positions they are holding.

scott books- After several assist gigs, he became the sonics head coach, missed the playoffs one time (his 1st season)

Monty william- who was an intern with POP and won a championship in 2005, also had a few assit gig (portland denver), and his first yr with NOLA he made the playoffs.

Brad stevens- who had a lot of success AND EXPERIENCE with BUTLER, made the playoffs in his 2nd season as head coach of the celtics

cmon dude its a 3 yr window, and every coach knows it..even when grunwald took the knicks gig, he signed everyone for 2 and 3 yr deals

none of the guys came from playing to coaching in a matter of days, in fact the Atl coach had yr's and yrs under pop, and working in the editing room for multiple yrs as well, he's success is a no brainer.

witman- was fired in his 3rd losing season with mini before he cam to dc, (he's been coaching since 92) he would have made the playoffs in his 2nd season had not been of Wall missing most of the season, but he made the 2nd rnd in yr 3.

scott books- After several assist gigs, he became the sonics head coach, missed the playoffs one time (his 1st season)

Monty william- who was an intern with POP and won a championship in 2005, also had a few assit gig (portland denver), and his first yr with NOLA he made the playoffs.

Brad stevens- who had a lot of success AND EXPERIENCE with BUTLER, made the playoffs in his 2nd season as head coach of the celtics

cmon dude its a 3 yr window, and every coach knows it..even when grunwald took the knicks gig, he signed everyone for 2 and 3 yr deals
