Adding a quality NBA SG
Being aggressive in the draft and UFDA(Just like in life--its best to rely on yourself)
Resigning Shveyd and dropping Calderon
Stay away from paying various over rated or average players big money just so we can be a little better and drafting a player who might be able to "play now vs a higher upside"
Making sure the team gets faster more athletic and deeper in terms of quality.

Just out of interest BRIGGs, why do you always seem to insist C's are actually PFs- you've done it a lot in the past, with Muscala, OK4, Towns, now Kanter? Not having a go, I'm just curious.

A center has to have the following criteria 6-10 + atleast 250 pounds has good ability to protect the rim(shot blocking) rebounds well and plays mostly inside(90%). If you dont meet each of the criteria--you are not a 5. None of these guys are what I would perceive as 5 only. Towns is a 5-4. IO would say the other two are 4-5 and Kanter 4. I dont even think its a big deal--Unless I had a really dominant 5 id rather have 5-4 and 4's for a faster team.

to BRIGGS or anyone in general - in todays game would you rather have a 4 or a 5?

im leaning more towards stretch 4s in the 6-10 range. seems like this game is more about PNR guard penetrations. its all about rotations and being mobile on D. I d rather have a mobile big that can guard the perimeter and shoot from the perimeter

theres no right or wrong answer...just a preference

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Mike Conley jr for 2016

I'm keeping an eye on these nagging injuries he's been suffering though. I think the memphis window will close soon and he'll be leaving.

We don't even have a window to close.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Phil is rebuilding the House of Knicks. It is yet to be seen if his re-design will include windows.

Based on Phil's explanation that he will add 3 players via free agency (2 starters) and 1 via draft, this is my hope:

C Towns or Okafor
PF Love or Aldridge or Monroe
SF Anthony
SG Green or Carroll
PG Calderon (unless we need the cap space, i wouldn't waive him just because.)

Bench
Lavoy Allen or Ajinca or Koufos (3rd free agent signing)
Galloway
Shved
Hardaway
Amundson
Thabo
Early

2016 waive Calderon and sign Conley.

Vaughn reminds me of a better version of a youngAllan Houston who plays good d. Let's let it play out talk to me in a few years I have a good history on bets like this. Yes I think Vaughn and Mickey are worth a restricted # 1 pick. Let's see if I'm right. My bet is I come back to this post.

Can we buy another 1st round pick or an early 2nd rounder and stop mortgaging our future away?
