I watched his last game highlights and he looked great at times and made numerous mistakes at times. Seems to be a reach at number 2 or 3

Yeah but if you watched Russell's last game you would think he isn't top 5 much less top 10.

That's not really fair. Arizona was a far superior team to Indiana. Indiana was a one man show if I e ever seen one. Arizona was too good for Russell to single handedly beat them. He was double-triple teamed all game

This is almost exactly the thing that worries me about Mudiay - we have NO IDEA how good his teammates were. Were they good? Were they bad? Did he make them better? Was he a ballhog they all hated?

Hard to translate that based on the differences of style of play and the fact that we all know almost zero about the Chinese Basketball Association... except that Marbury at 35 is the best player in the league and has a statue built for him there.

Mudiay is just a huge question mark for me. If Phil works him out and thinks he's going to be great, I'll trust his judgment as a talent evaluator - but I don't think there's any way any of us can base anything on what we've seen, frankly.

that's why teams have scouts though, right?

Yes - I'd trust the scouts, sure. But none of us have seen those scouting reports. And given how bad the Knicks have been at keeping secrets, we haven't heard a whole of interest in Mudiay from them yet, so I wonder if they even had scouts over there when he was healthy and playing. We've heard a lot about Okafor, the Kentucky practices and Phil watching D'Angelo Russell.

But my point was, as far as we are all concerned Mudiay is a question mark who general draft scouts like, not even particularly any Knicks sources. Chad Ford saying the Knicks may have interest in Mudiay doesn't mean much to me, given his track record.

Mudiay wouldve been the #1 pick if it wasnt for the rule change. Also if Mudiay is a legit pg... you need a team around him that can play. Plus we have some of the best euro scouts since we F'ed up with Frederick Weis. But Mudiay has as much potential as Russell and Winslow. Whats interesting is the lack of talk about Mudiay. Its smells like a smoke screen....but Phil likes lefties. ....so he must love Russell. Me personally i thing Mudiay is the 5th best slection of the top 5.....But for some reason im not mad if we reach for him....From the limited tape i saw even going back to HS....he has that "it" factor who can take over a game with passing or scoring....

Mudiay's last game was not good, based on these clips. It was decent but doesn't look like the #2 pick in the draft.

Getting close to the lottery.....I figured since I'm bored and waiting for tomorrow's fate, I ran the lottery just one time, and this was my results.

1. Sixers - Towns
2. Knicks - Ok4
3. Heat - Russell (wow)
4. Wolves - Porzingis
5. Lakers - Muday (nice)
6. Magic - WCS
7. Kings - Winslow
.
.
.
13. Suns - Kaminsky

Nearly every time I run it we end up with the fourth or fifth pick- the worst one had the heat getting the first and us getting the fifth!

My mood for each place shall be:

1st pick: ecstatic
2nd pick: delighted
3rd pick: pleased
4th pick: wavering smile
5th pick: bitterly disappointed

I predict the Sixers and some team with an outside shot get the top two picks.

predictions? no way to predict. If you are right, you got lucky and if you are wrong, its just a prediction.

this is no data that can support you in your prediction.

Its based on percentages. ....the more you play the more chances of getting second place. And the more i think we should change it to the nfl draft system. This lotto thing is terrible.

the less you play the better chance you have at not getting first place
