You know there is so much Bull Crap tossed at Fisher and to be honest all I see is a group of players that are still playing hard for him. They have shown that they really do understand the system and what he wants them to do. The new culture is being established even now. They actually have been defending well and giving max effort. That is worth a heck of a lot more than people are giving him credit for. A lot of these players will be back next year and they already have the right mental approach to the game that they'll need when the roster is upgraded next year.

Galloway has been developing nicely. Larkin has grown. Even THJ, Acy and Early have shown signs of life. Those are important factors since we need young cheap players who we know can thrive in this system. It's unfortunate that it cost us a higher lottery position but the team playing better isn't completely a bad thing. I would've accepted a close loss, but the Hawks underestimated the Knicks and they lost.

On top of all that we just don't know what pick we'll get. Nothing is guaranteed.

There's 2 main reason the knicks have looked a little better 1) the rotation is now 10 instead of 14, and 2)were taking 8 to 10 more FT's a game. Players are a little more comfortable in their roles.

I don't like Fisher as the knicks coach because he's too in experience, and i just don't see him as a guy who can make the proper substitutions and adjustments in the clutch. Thats not to say he can't be that guy, but I'm not sure when that will happen.

I haven't really watched more than 5 minutes of each of the last 40 or 50 games, I have been looking at the stat sheet and noticing the rotations have been shorter.

If Okafor turns out to be THAT player, then you got one hell of a team.

And once again...this would be a very limited team offensively, with virtually no inside/outside balance. You would have to hope that Wiggins becomes a jump shooter all of a sudden and they find a great shooter at SF. I tend to think they would look to sign a good shooting 2, and let Wiggins stay at 3.

I disagree with some folks around here- I see Towns as a center, even if it takes a few years, and that is where I would want him playing on the Knicks.

I just think that the starting 5 they would have with Towns (even with the Pekovic/Dieng substitution), assuming it is the one you listed, would be a bit clunky on the offensive end.
