Usually hate brings more hate. And love brings more love. But not in this case is which means it must be something more.

Splat and nix are total opposites who try their hardest to convince the world their point of view is correct and everybody who disagrees are stupid. Both guys don't give each other room to be different.

I've read both posters threads plenty of times and nix never came off with personal attacks. Even when he was being attacked. I think we all can learn something from that. If you hit me I'll hit you back. If you hit nix he comes back with the same I love the knicks stuff....unless I'm wrong which wouldn't be the first time.

With that said....I have no issues with splat. Everybody is different for a reason. No need in spending too much energy trying to change someone's views. They may be just as stubborn as you. Which is the case between nix and splat. You guys represent the balance between pessimism and optimism.

It's the personal attacks that cross the line.

I cant remember him talking very much basketball, unless its to directly back up his anti-Phil is a whore/anti-Melo agendas. If your in line with those ideals your posts will be responded with positives and fluff and funny pictures. If your in contrast with those ideals your logic will be faulty. Perhaps you will even hate women and froth at the mouth as I have been accused off. He gained support when called out by another poster and used that to rally his popularity. Ultimately it was as I predicted. Splat is just another fart in the wind. Makes some noise, gets some attention, maybe even stinks for awhile, but in the end if there isnt something of substance your just going to drift away.

I remember a number of legit posters who made "I leaving" or "I'm taking a break" posts. I don't care for them but its not just Splat.

His point was that he knows that going after posters (e.g. Nix) is not allowed by the mods (with reason) and that he needs to go after him because he needs to call him out for perceived stupidity and if that means that he gets nuked or banned or neither then he will have to pay that price.

How long has splat been here? Has anyone ever met him? But yea.. the farewell thread is telling. Notice the bold above

You join a forum on a site dedicated "to pure Knicks love" and cant stop yourself from attacking a guy who's name is nix-luva because all he ever sees is the glass half full. I mean talk about misguided... and its ironic on top of that. Splat might be the most single minded agenda driven poster I have ever read here. The only time he "changed" or "softened" his views were so people could see him doing so... thus the experiment in sociology. As long as your talking about Phil's whoredom or Melo's poor play and selfishness Splat is warmest and fuzziest of posters. I would say his views are more rigid than Nix's by plenty.
