I disagree. What Shved is doing is actually running the offense and also taking the initiative to read when the defense is overplaying our normal actions in anticipation of what we would normally do. When Shved sees that they are overplaying a pass he goes to the basket. He's doing what you're supposed to do in this system. Teams have to make a decision to try and stop the play and particular in the case of the Pinch Post, 2 man game it opens up either the pass or Shved can drive. Shved also rebounds well and pushes the ball immediately. Since he drives so hard it opens up shots for his teammates and he's able to deliver the pass accurately. Shved is playing good basketball and it's not a fluke. It's just sound smart Basketball. He's not blindly forcing drives every time down. He's mixing it up very well.
