Why are people still complaining about losing when they know we don't have the talent and guys are developing? Let's just hope the pong pong balls fall our way and we get that top 3 pick.

who are we developing? they all suck, and getting worse by the game.

You're responding to a guy who couldn't STFU about how good a player Calderon really is, just give it time. Replete with all kinds of career stats. Meanwhile, Calderon sucks big time and this clown can't stop telling people off. And some here wonder why I'm beating up on this guy? He has no respect for logic or other posters. They are not an optimist. They are a goon whose default position is to always support everything Dolan does. Nix is insane.

Nix means well, but I'm just baffled at how he keeps saying were developing players who have no shot at being here next season, or may not even be in the NBA.

But anyone who think fisher is suffering strictly because of the roster, is in for a rude awakening come next season. He is the worst coach i have ever seen in my life.. on any level.

I don't agree. He's the only one here who does this constantly:

STOP IT!!!!!!!!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE???!!!! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!

It's ridiculous. Constantly.

Everyone is entitled to their meltdowns, but this guy is hysterical and nonsensical non-stop.

I'd think he's only mentally ill, but his obvious readiness to paint every single move made by this organization as some kind of genius move is incredibly toxic. He is a corporate lobbyist for James Dolan AFAIK. And for that reason, he can take my heat, because he does nothing to not earn it.

As for Fish, he just isn't a coach. He needed to be an assistant and learn from real coaches first.

And that is what I've been saying this week:

Phil who has no GM experience gave a 5 year deal to a coach with zero coaching experience. And Phil expected that to work? Phil is full of himself. His arrogance is gross and I've totally turned against him because everything he says and does shows he is a prima donna who thinks his chit doesn't stink.

Phil don't know Jack about building a club. His mind games won't work here.

People are totally underestimating how bad Phil has been and how little evidence there is he will improve his ways. To think people are able to say Jax has vision or there is a solid plan is just absurd.

Jax is making this up as he goes. Fish is a disaster too.

I've got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!

We are in a grind right now. A tough time to be fanatical. Particularly where the fan base does not trust ownership to make good decisions. Without regard to intent at the beginning of the season, getting a top draft pick this year is a correct strategic move. All you have left to look forward to during the season is the ranking for the lottery. Accept it and move on.

My point is not to avoid this topic of conversation, but instead to accept the premise that our incentive is to lose games at this point in the season, and as such the actions of this coach and gm are not necessarily reflecting optimal decisions for winning but instead to keep their present goal of a top draft pick.

You know I gonna spin wit it

All that complaining Splat is bull****....

We had Bargnani hurt until February. Calderón didn't start the season. Jr smith gave up in pre season. Shump gave up after November. Amare has been playing every other day when he felt like it. Melo has been hurt most of the year. Dalembert was left to do more than he's ever done. Shane Larkin was the starting point guard. Quincy Acy was a starter early on.

Most of those guys are gone.... but it's Phil's fault for 15 years of garbage? I don't even think Isiah and layden got this much negative bull**** thrown their way.

We're a lottery team yet. We're supposed to lose. What ate we supposed to lose win a championship with this group? Phil admitted he put too much trust in this group, so he traded all the ****suckers and put things in auto pilot.

We want the top 4 pick right? Then we need to lose.

it's like you guys want a personal blow job from Phil. Hit him up on twitter and see what he says

Then you probably understand why my outlook is the only good option is the nuclear option. Burn it to the ground. And the only way that really could happen is if people stop giving Dolan their cash and actively protest and get him to sell. Not that it would ever happen, but I'm sick of the constant stream of apologies fans make up for supporting this franchise when the only sensible thing for an actual fan to do is say No Mas.

I'm posting again because I want to get through to people on the fence they have a choice not to support this organization at all. Turning against it is an option. And the only thing that will save the Knicks for future generations. The rest who can't handle this will go on sucking Dolan's teats the rest of their lives and subsidizing this corporate monstrosity.

Here's the thing I find bizarre Briggs. Every couple of weeks you lament on the state of the Knicks roster. Then several times a week you come up with a trade idea to move said players in a trade for assets from other NBA teams. If you don't want them, why would any other team want them either? If you don't think they have any value, why would any other NBA team think they have any value as well?

It's just a habit. At least he is showing real signs of discontent which is progress. There's real hope for Briggs.

I've been trying to say this for a while now. We are heading back to the same point next year, the way this is going. Just to watch Toronto or Denver get our high pick.

We are depending on a rookie GM, rookie Coach and a rookie top 4 pick (maybe OK4 who fits right in with our lack of defense) to turn this ship around....Oh, don't forget the owner who will fold to all this negative energy from fans, media, endorsements.....This is why NYC is not good at tanking. Nope--the plan right now is to assemble a base core out of the roster we have. The problem is most of the guys are brutal especially on the D and inconsistent on the O. Were going to get a top 4 pick--thats a lock of a guarantee. There is no plan there it was already happening.

After a while, you can not continue to blame the players.....Granted I haven't watch this last game. But I have a feeling if you put these guys on different teams, they will all shine like stars.....

That is so obvious, people keep saying fisher has nothing to work with, but he looks just as bad as the players, probably worse cause the knicks compete for like one qtr, and play super low IQ bball for 3 qtrs.

Didn't they do that under dantoni? Didn't they do that under Woodson? Please stfu and gtfo

Yeah, maybe the brilliant evolution of the site is to turn the UK into a comglomeration of nothing but beeyatching panty smear non-Knick fans with little man bank account issues who can't wait more than 9 months for a 5 year plan to unfold. Who excel at snarky gif googling.

I get it we suck..... that's a given.

I don't blame Fisher when the leaders of the team gave up on him in pre season.

Phil deserves blame, but he already said he takes full blame because he put too much trust in the group that was here.

Anything else you guys say is ****ing bull****. Bunch of garbage that you guys love to wallow in every day like some deranged derelicts.

That is one of the most ridiculous things you have ever said. A base core out of this group??? C'mon. At this point Phil is trying to find some complimentary pieces for the future, not a core. Briggs, do you have OCD? Every day a new thread on how bad Calderone is and lets get rid of him. what do you want the Knicks to do? Cut him tomorrow. Calderone is much better than he has shown. Maybe with better player, maybe on another team. at this point we don't need his slot or his money. Lets see how the off season goes. Maybe the Knicks trade him, maybe he comes back hopefully as a back up. Agreed the Knicks need a starting pg but there is no rush at this point to get rid of Calderone.

fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Drive the tank...and get pick #4...lol

What would you do then....kill yourself?

I've been trying to say this for a while now. We are heading back to the same point next year, the way this is going. Just to watch Toronto or Denver get our high pick.

We are depending on a rookie GM, rookie Coach and a rookie top 4 pick (maybe OK4 who fits right in with our lack of defense) to turn this ship around....Oh, don't forget the owner who will fold to all this negative energy from fans, media, endorsements.....This is why NYC is not good at tanking. Fans analyze every single inch, even when the plan is clear as day.....I feel sorry for the knick fans that continue to watch and cry themselves to sleep every night....lol

Brace yourself knick fans...It's not looking good right now....

Do exactly what everybody else would do when a plane is about to crash.

PUT YOU HEAD BETWEEN YOUR LEGS.....AND PRAY FOR A MIRACLE!

Nope--the plan right now is to assemble a base core out of the roster we have. The problem is most of the guys are brutal especially on the D and inconsistent on the O. Were going to get a top 4 pick--thats a lock of a guarantee. There is no plan there it was already happening.

Watched part of the Rockets game and Prigs looked pretty good out there, did a good job of finding teammates, had the highest +/- on the team. Maybe Calderon will also play better with better players. I would still like to draft or find an upgrade at PG because of Calderon's age, bring Calderon off the bench if he's here next season.

Anyone who thinks Calderon should be our starting PG and wants to win doesnt understand basketball. Yes they are trying to find "core players to move forward with" out of this group. Not the lead core the base secondary players. You know the Kerr's the Paxon's the Horry's etc.. problem is there really is not any.
