If he is a 1 than he always had very low assist numbers.

I think was a 1 that moved to 2 in or before his freshman year. They need to lock him up because you never want to have a Wes Matthews situation. Lock him up early before he creates a higher value and while you can give yourself an team option year or make salary partially guaranteed.

Yes but a triangle 1 is basically a converted 2 guard. What I like is that despite his size he still rebounded well as a 2.

His rebounding was really impressive. Also seems like a really good and hard working kid.

Still can't understand what the hell happened to Jose's shot. Maybe their training and drills for their legs are screwing up their shots.

He has a huge wingspan. Seems to fit what Phil targets.

While they would be considered "ROOKIE's" they are not real rookies, outside of Thanasis who also has great work ethic and a legit NBA body

Orlando Sanchez is a player that I think would FIT in greatly with this system and would be playing the role that STAT is playing off the bench
His body/skills reminds of a blend between Jared Sullinger/Channing Frye, with a very mid range shooter and could hit 3pt's and with bit of handle if a PF/C comes out to defend him, to beat them of the dribble
He can play both on off the ball, the initiate the offense at times, and with some legit NBA post moves, decent size/athelticism/footwork/skills in the post with a very good NBA shooting ability

I like what STAT can do to score, but he isn't a facilitator that we would need to create shots and initiate our OFFENSE
In addition to his injuries, we simply could find cheaper options that would be avaiable much more in a 82 games schedule
While I am surprised that STAT has improved his footwork/post abilities, he will always have injury concerns and always be a poor defender and not a good rebounder/shot blocker as well

So at the very least I see
4 players being part of our rotation moving forward
Add in our #1 pick, hopefully OK4, in addition to the MLE on 2 players for about 3m each, the rest of our salary *and trade exemptions that would count against our cap*, and we would need to find some more younger talent with D League, undrafted players, Foreign talent, and players that teams give up on that could be the next Gereld Green/Danny Green/Courtney Lee/Wes Mathews, Whiteside and many other type of players that have suprised the league

Galloway

Thanasis

Travis Wear

Orlando Sanchez

OK4

Just saying, add in Kawaii or Butler and Draymond Green

Galloway

Kawaii *Thanasis learning off Kawaii*

CA
Green

OK4

maybe even at times going BIG

Kawaii *with ALL OF THESE PLAYERS ABLE to help and take turns bringing up the BALL*
Thanasis
CA *CA's defense would be hidden in this lineup, while we would be playing a half zones scheme, with multiple shooters/abilties to post up to initate the OFFENSE
Green
OK4

MLE on 2 players at about 3m each
Cole Aldrich

Galloway
Tim Hardaway JR *would not mind trading him for 2 early 2nd rounders in this draft or 1 early 2nd rounder and 2 mid/ 2nd rounders, one could be future draft*
Early??

Travis Wear

Orlando Sanchez

Acy??
Jason Smith?? looks like he is much better player when the ball is QUICKLY MOVING....

in this deep draft, I would consider trading one of our future 1st rounders, for a 1st rounder and 2 2nd earlier/mid 2nd rounders
Many teams have too many picks that they simply cannot use and would hold against their salary cap as 1st rounders like Boston/Philly etc....

I like Sanchez. Seems like his minutes and numbers are up and down but he looks like he could be a great fit down the road. If the Knicks end up with three undrafted rookies that can be rotation players from this draft class that is quite an accomplishment.

I think an analyst quoted Korver saying " that he learned it was not about getting up 1000s shots a day but rather if he had a good leg workout, message, and treatment. It was more about strength and feeling good. Maybe Jose needs to strengthen his legs and get more treatment.
