I'm sure it's a lot easier to motivate the 2014/15 Warriors vs. 2014/15 Knicks..
Seriously dude? A real coach usually coaches with the same passion. Whether or not he has talent. See Larry Brown, thibodeau, etc. a good coach is usually a purist.
Passion to motivate players who won't be here next year??
What exactly has fisher shown he's good at?
Look, I hate this triangle/only interview people u know/All former Lakers on the Knick bench/Smug GM/ yada yada shet that going on..There is nothing ZEN about all that..But u have to give Fish a pass this year...It's his first year..He sucks hard but so did Kidd..There is hope, not much but still..25 mil says we have to...Phil is going down with this guy..So all we can do is pray...
When your on pace to have the worst record in NBA History, breaking all kind of franchise records (not good ones) you gets no pass. You think the very next season he's going to become this tough minded, X/0 defensive minded coach, who demands respect and will lead his team on a playoff run...Dream on!!
I have nothing against fisher personally, I like the guy, I think he's a real smart and cool dude who can help a coaching staff, he's just far from being a head coach of a Professional basketball team in one of the biggest markets in the world. The most pessimistic fan didn't believe we would be this bad. If you can't coach a NBA team to 20 to 25 wins, your far from ready.
