No it's a very real assessment of Melo's game. Melo and his team in Denver with Billups is more of an indication of what he can do with a better floor leader and a dynamic player like Lebron would open things up for Melo. They would play off each other very well. Melo would be great with Lebron. I just think it would change the way the Cavs play with a more dynamic player like Melo. They still wouldn't be good defensively but I think they'd be a much more dynamic offensive team. I think it would make just enough of a difference that they would end up with a +point differential.

That was an excellent Denver team. If you were to play their role players (like #4 through 12) against Cleveland's, they'd probably win by 40.

No, you can't guarantee that. The only thing that could prove that is if they actually played together.

Knowing the makeup of 2 of the 12 players on the roster (Melo and Lebron) isn't enough to predict anything about the team. If it's Melo, Lebron, and 10 NBDL players, the team probably won't finish above .250.
I can guarantee you that if you swapped Melo and Love we'd be better than .100 right now, though. JK

Lebron lead Cleveland to the finals with garbage and at times he carried Miami when Wade and bosh were injured or not 100%. They would probably be close to .500 with lebron, Melo and bums

That was an entirely different Lebron than what we've seen so far.

And don't forget that they're a .600 team right now in games when their big 3 have been together anyway.
