That's some serious high praise and i'm a really big fan but my question is.....will it take him 2/3/4 year until we see his full potential and do we have that time to wait if it does take that long??

Sounds like everyone is sold on getting one of the top two bigs in Okafor or Towns but what do you guys think of Mudiay??

I'd have no problem with that. We just need a massive improvement in talent. I think Towns will be better in the Pros cuz the way Kentucky plays doesn't allow him the touches he should get. In the Triangle he'd get far more and higher quality touches. The same goes for Monroe or Okafor. It's a great big man offense as demonstrated by Bynum n Gasol.

I think this might be just what Phil is going for in going with two bigs like his Lakers days. Just think about if we had either Okafor or Towns with G.Monroe and Carmelo? I would happily keep J.Calderon to run the team with those three. People are down on Calderon but he would be the perfect PG to run a team like that. He's a pass first PG that hardly ever turns the ball over and can hit the three ball.

I really like ok4 and towns as well as Mudiay but one player that is not getting recognition is ohio state D'angelo Russell.. This guy might be the best talent wise player in the draft ... He's a star in the nba

Id be happy with any of the 3... but id actually take Mudiay first... this kid has high ball iq and looks like he never breaks a sweat lol.

He is still my number 2, I don't care what is said about him. I can only imagine his numbers if he weren't at Kentucky. Not okafor, but still very good. He's a better rebounder and shot blocker than okafor, and is skilled enough on offense to impact our team right away. He is also a good free throw shooter.

I've seen even out of OK4 to warrant being the #1 pick but I'm not losing any sleep if we don't win the lottery. This draft is stacked with front court players

He played much better tonight. It's good that his coach lit a fire under him. Hes close to 7 feet tall 250 pounds and skilled with long arms. he should be a quadruple threat player EVERY night scoring rebounding blocked shots and assists.

His upside is VERY high when motivated and playing well. It wouldve been nice for this guy to pick a different school to be "the man". I think any small jolt his stock mightve taken was answered back today. He just needs to keep it up. It's great for the Knicks a LOT of big prospects plus a couple of guards. At the end of the day I would take the best big end of the year. To bad we couldnt turn Melo into a second high pick but its not going to happen.

I was agreeing with Briggs Too bad we can't trade Melo and draft Towns & OK4 and be set for years to come.

Melo is only getting older and breaking down every year. And he's only in year 1 of his 5yr contract.

ok4 feasts on undersized players... he has looked average against other 7fters or good team defenses.. he's not shaq where he can just back down against anyone...

ok4 has a better post game and that's it.. towns is better than him in all other facets of the game... the only reason ok4 is rated higher is because towns doesn't get as many minutes..
