Agreed. Most of them are Jordan fans who secretly feel he's a threat to the throne. There are no public records of womanizing, gambling, going to jail, etc. Yet he's called dirt bag because he wants to win and doesnt trust inexperienced coaches. It is ridiculous as you say. Yet, Magic goes behind his coaches back to get him fired and its all good. Bird used to sabotage KC Jones set plays and go against his set plays during timeouts and he's praised for it by teammates during documentaries. Ridiculous indeed.
There has been a couple recent drop about him and the ladies
Not good at all, but nothing way out of the norm
Doesn't have to be those extremes and Lebron is not infallible
This is his time and his era for the good and bad that comes along with what he is
And what was the point of your post? What were you hoping to address? Because it seems the crux of your anti-LeBron rhetoric is that he has a penis and uses it from time to time. That isn't exactly compelling stuff.
Go google the info on your own, it's out there and common knowledge
Not everything is true and not everything is false
Which goes for all info out there on anyone
Lebron is not a saint and we need to get used to it
Dude, who the **** IS a saint? What does LeBron boning some chicks on the side have to do with his character as a person or his abilities as a basketball player?
Ahhhhh... A married guy who has accepted his status as a role model, and likes to portray himself as a good person sure, as heck has his character dented if he is "boning some chicks on the side."Says nothing about his basketball abilities, but much about his "character."
In all seriousness, how can you sit there and judge LeBron like you're being tempted on his level. Are you really beating off 10s as you roll into work in your '95 Ford Taurus? Lets be real.
I'm not endorsing him cheating but as a dude, especially as one in his prime, I can understand it. The reality is that we're programmed to **** multiple women and getting married doesn't change that. More importantly, it isn't a reflection of character (or a lack thereof). Great men have cheated and you are going to sit there and deny they were men of character? LeBron's no great man but if better couldn't live up to that standard, what do you expect from a guy whose value to society is putting a ball through an iron ring?
Don't drive a "95 Taurus. In 1995 they may have been chick magnets, though.
Don't mind judging Lebron, or others who prove to be fakes.
I was surprised about Magic- made me look at him differently. If I found out that Duncan was a "player" while being married, I would be stunned, since he has a certain reputation. Did not root against LJ when played for us.
I'm usually upset with hypocrisy, especially if it applies to the carefully manufactured character of a public person. Lebron portrays himself in a certain way- if he is doing things that go counter to his, I find that meaningful.
Does not diminish what James has done as a player. What is, or is not, going on in Cleveland might, though.
People shouldn't put themselves up as something they are not. Folks living in glass houses...
Don't like Alex Rodriguez/Yankees, but when I thought he was clean I was actually rooting for him to catch and surpass Bonds, who was a fraud. That has all changed, obviously. If Jeter had turned out to be using PEDs it would have been worse, because of how he has always carried himself as a player and person.
Character flaws of great men (and women) don't diminish their accomplishments, but they can cause me lose respect for a person (Not that they would care!)
I do agree that we are programmed to play around, but then I'm an atheist who accepts our animal roots. The problem with this is that in the animal world the stronger animals seem to spread the most "seed," and this works out for the them evolutionarily speaking. Not sure that "players" of the human race are always the ones whose genes we want to see being spread in the form of children.
Those who claim to be good Christians or Muslims, but have no issues with married folks playing around with one another or doing it themselves, might want to do some soul searching of their own.
By the way, hat would you tell your daughter, assuming you have one and are old enough, if she came to you crying about the fact that her new husband was sleeping around on her and your two grandchildren? What would you say to your son-in-law?
EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?
