we have a lot of stupid players.

That's basically the Master Agenda as far as I can tell. The club is disease-ridden with stupid players. Upping the IQ and bringing in players with good fundamentals and a 2-way game is my agenda.

hard to find 2 way players anymore.

call me crazy but I actually did not like dfishers game at all. He hit some big shots but took so many horrible shots. Tough defender.

Steve Kerr was a much better choice but he was smart to run for the hills.

Hard to find, but they both exist and systems cultivate them. That doesn't mean they have to be triangulated hotshots, but bringing in guys with some defensive acumen, passing skills and some kind of offensive moves or shot is not like asking for the Hope Diamond to appear in my toilet after a night at Chipotle.

Steve Kerr is a smart man, but even Alfred E. Neumann would have taken the GS job over the Knicks. Fish looks shell-shocked.

thats why I wanted Lowry. Was our only hope.

Maybe we go for Gasol just to get a brain in the door and not just another door for a brain.

Gasol has gone to another level this year. I didn't know he actual spent some pre-NBA years living in Memphis. His mom lives there. He likes it. The only real downside is management has been so-so and Gasol is waiting to see how they plan to run the club before he extends. But if management responds properly, it seems likely he will stay.

He is truly heads and shoulders above the rest of the free agents now. Landing him plus a top 3 pick would revive this club perhaps to the point of contention if they could add a legit PG to the mix.

But who am I kidding. Gasol is not coming here. Lowry would have given the club some semblance of composure and maybe set them up to attract a Gasol next year. Now our cupboards are bare.

No. You're right. Gasol is not coming here ... no chance.

Please not Aldridge. Not that he would come here either.

Maybe we should get Josh Smith and the retards if we are just gonna remain boringly bad.

We need a few more JR Smiths. Josh Smith, Brandon Jennings, Tyreke Evans & Eric Gordan fit the bill. Those are the guys I would target

I'd go for that, except we don't have a first rounder after this season. If we could trade Melo for 3 first rounders, then we need to do this and go mano a mano with Philly next year.

Well his brother did live there for years so I am pretty sure that's how he got accustom to that city.

I see a lot of talk about two way players but a lot of players people consider two way players are only one way players that are adequate defensive/offensive players.

I'm really questioning the timing this seems bizarre

And borderline picking at the scab reopening a flesh wound

This seems like a subliminal "Shots Fired at Phil"

As in alright we really are bad waaaaahhhhnnnn waaaaahhhhnnn

You said there is a vision where is your fix

Get me some help

I'm also putting this together

With his recent comments on ESPN New York page

I think this post is poorly formatted and I think Carmelo has no control over what is written about him by tabloids and when it is written.

Lowrey would have cost us a draft pick, be a long term contract, and not enough upside.
He is a very good player but he was not in huge demand and his maturity has been questioned.

I like Gasol and he is stepped it up a notch. He lost a lot of weight and the quickness seems to help.
COntract year performance? Can he sustain it?

Memphis has the best record in the league!!!! They are commited to a plan and without starphuching seemingly are "Spurs Lite"!
He went to high school there when Pau was the man and has been great. THat trade was lambasted at the time but really Memphis really did wel with it.
So did the Lakers!

Who knows what Memphis will pay to keep him and if its at all about money for him. Pau choose chicago because they are a good team and its a cultural diverse city with much to offer those interested in the Arts.
Does Marc seek similar? Would he thrive in the Triangle? No better city in the country if you want the Arts and Culture.

Aldridge?

Perhaps who we draft might determine who we mark for free agency.

KLove is free and Lebron can opt out. While I doubt Lebron leaves Cle, and Love is predicted to either stay or head out west, one might imagine he could do very well under Phish.

Those are the big names. The chess board has yet to be set. Will be interesting summer. Meanwhile, we got games to lose!
