Knicks = 1 great + decent/ok players but pretty much all of them lack good BB IQ

Yup. Phil knows this. Fish knows it too. Who wouldn't want to start with Curry making you look great? Phil could only grab Jose. I'm pretty sure he would've loved to have Curry. It's just a longer road but we already knew that.

bigger reality check - knicks had the 11th best offense last year under woodson and a collection of stiffs. triangle is straight up fake hustle and you're all getting bamboozled. knicks asset values are dwindling as i type this.

I sense the fear and insecurities in your words as you type. Knowing that Toronto's run at the top of the division will be short lived.

It definitely feels like Knicks fans are getting bamboozled, losing finally seems like a strategy here. That's what Knicks fans have been looking for, a plan of action. The reason why I think a tank job is in effect, the Knicks did not get one player that was a part of the triangle offense in the past. It would have been so easy for Phil to get a Jordan Farmar or Blake to run the point they know the triangle.

When did he play the triangle? I'm sure he will help win some games but I can't see him getting the Knicks into the playoffs.

Not sure if losing is a strategy but the unusual lineups and frequent change in playing rotation might lead one to come to that conclusion. A big portion of the roster is gone after this season. In that sense it feels similar to 09.
