So true.

And that is what angered me so much. What was the point of camp? Guys like Diago or C.J. Leslie never had a chance at all. The entire thing was pre-ordained. Just seven points in eight pre-season games for Chris Smith, poor performances, poor play...didn't matter. Chris Smith was making the team. And to think that was a GM call is ludicrous. The whole camp was just a sham. Woody's sham.

Fire Woodson!

Did Woodson structure Chris's contract so that the entire deal became guaranteed if Chris was on the roster for one day of the regular season?

The Chris Smith thing was the most absurd thing I've ever seen. Hard to believe it really happened,

The better question was if Woodson was able to cut him or not. There was without a doubt better talent in the camp.

One of the reasons Glen was demoted, was the Jr package.

Chris Smith was a package deal for two straight years. I have no doubt that Grunwald was demoted because of Bargs deal, it was awful from every aspect of basketball, and I do think Woody asked for it, Grunwald even hinted at it.

Wasn't it Dolan who pushed for the Bargs deal?

I do recall Howard beck stating pretty well that deal was all CAA related to persaude Dolan to agree....

And it was CAA, according to sources, that persuaded Dolan to make the ill-fated trade for its client Andrea Bargnani—over the concerns of the Knicks’ front office.

http://thehoopdoctors.com/?bar=QAgKEqgR

CAA would be agents AND players AND Coaches currently retaining them as agents. Woodson was no innocent bystander to this.

Bargnani was the next "player to be salvaged" by Woodson.

The knicks panicked when the Nets stole the headlines after trading for Pierce and Garnet. The knicks were coming off an embarrassing showing vs Indy. They are all to blame

Doesn't matter that Woodson is no longer there. Ever go to the Garden and watch a Ranger game? We still chant "Potvin Sucks" and that guy retired twenty-eight years ago! Like "Potvin sucks," "Fire Woodson" will forever be a part of the Garden. "Fire Woodson" will always be a part of Knick fans.

This is "Islesfan".

So did most preseason analytics. Miss Cleo your not.
A broken clock is right twice a day. Congratulations! Nalod made a abstract but somewhat valid comparison to you to a broken time piece!

The easy thing to do is point out in hindsight what is wrong. While nobody here has any influence on anything, its fun to speculate on what can be, or what our team is trying to attempt.

Your that guy thats holding the cheap beer saying "I told you they sucked!!!"

While your not in the angry Homer crowd that thought playoffs and is all pissy things not going their way, to simply promote your "I don't want to brag, but do anyway"........is really kind of cheesy!!!!

Your "the negative guy" and with little entertainment value to boot. If you gonna go off, bring something to the table.

Sad thing is, this thread could be from just about any of the last 14 years, with the exception of one.

I started three threads months ago:

1. Knicks May be Worst Team In NBA
2. Fire Fisher Now
3. Tyson Chandler Is MVP Caliber This Year

You are correct a broken clock is right twice. I have been right three times. No broken clock here. Three for three. And my threads were started months before what everyone sees now. Months before.

I ain't the I told you so type...but I told you so.

And here's a fourth future prediction:

Bargnani Ain't The Answer

Now I will be four for four. No broken clock here.

That's not how it works, the saying is "a broken clock is right two times a day", but you didn't write all those threads on the same day. Therefore, you may have been write 3 times, but never more than twice on one day. Sorry mate, you're still a broken clock

If I had a nickle for every time someone has said Bargnani Ain't The Answer, I'd be able buy everyone here a Mercedes-Benz. I don't think that qualifies you as Nostradamus. Funny that you think that is a sign of predictive powers saying it now though. You're a strange dude in your own very special way.

I'll have your warm milk ready in a few minutes. In the meantime, get into your jammies and get ready for bed.

Bargnani is the answer- the answer to help us tank even better. We need to lose games faster, by more points, and with less comebacks. Bargs isn't the hero we need, he's the one we deserve.
