It's going to take a while for all of the players to truly grasp all nuances of the triangle. Hopefully our impatient fan-base will give the this team the cushion it needs as it grows and learns. Expect Lots of ups and downs this season as guys try to figure things out....

Quick analysis

You can see where we have some decent players--how they go together--thats going to be tough.

THJ might be part of a big 3 or 4.

Our defense was not good--it was porous and unorganized

Im not sure Prigioni is a guy Id keep.

The D was spotty but they left Olynyk and Sullinger open at the 3 which is better that a ton of penetration. They should be able to fix that after viewing film. I'm actually not as worried about the D from what I saw. They did try to close off penetration pretty well. C's just hit some jumpers that made it look worse than it was.

Pablo looks like he'll be at the end of the rotation. Outlaw looks like he should be out and Wear should be in.

No. It is not there. Cannot look at it...

I actually don't feel it's that bad. It's a smaller team Boston has. I at least see Knicks moving to shut down penetration. Not many lay ups from the C's.

Bargnani is playing like he's on drugs. I guess I forgot how bad he was. I do like how in a couple of sets the knicks have used the sideline like an extra defender, something I know they've been working on.

This unit is not a good combo. Fish has to experiment to see what works tho.

I already get tired of this triangle obsession.
Can this MSG bureaucracy keep something from running out of proportion?

Bargs was just fine in the starting unit. I wouldn't put too much on how anyone looks with this lineup.

That's true, better interior defense. I'll take that over no D.

Not liking Outlaw in the post in the Triangle. He can't seal his man.

Unfortunately they aren't contesting shots on the perimeter

And they are get beat with cuts to the basket

Better energy with this young group but they have to pick the man with the ball before he gets a head of steam up.
