However, this team alreadyhas depth at PF...they have a million PFs. meanwhile, early is the only back up for melo at the 3. it makes sense to keep the vet outlaw at 3 until early gets comfy. DLeague for wear until amare or bargs gets hurt (which will most likely happen)

I thought that initially, but then I read that at this stage of his storied career, Outlaw is considered and has been playing as a stretch PF (Kind of worrying for a player who can't shoot and is lanky and undersized!). We can play Shump, JR and Tim Jr at SF (will help ease the number crunch for those guys too), and we have Early too. SO I'd go with keeping Wear.

How come I read some pieces saying Wear was too lanky or needed to bulk up? He looked okay, I thought

Wear so obviously fits. Outlaw is a place holder against Early being terrible. I just don't see Outlaw's value over Wear. You can clearly see Wear plugging right in when the need arises. Early is already better than Outlaw IMO. He can defend better and is more versatile overall.

He looked exactly the same gameplay wise in the preseason game as he did in that video!

Plus I think keeping him and cutting Outlaw sends a good message to the team.

When you see a guy play the first time, you know if he can play or not....Travis Wear can play. we still have to evaluate everyone, but I definitely feel he deserves a roster spot over travis outlaw. I don't wanna see him on the d league team.
