So I don't see what the big hoopla was about in the first place with Melo's Money. What I see is the only way to win in this league is to tank the team for a few years and get the best players. This is with the exception of San Antoni. But as I remember They tanked a few times to get the Admril and other pieces. The NBA need to change the way the cap works. The way things are set up now the Knicks will never get the quality players that we will need to surround Melo.

The spurs tanked but got lucky too. Some teams tank and have no luck.

They tanked the year Robinson got hurt and thats just plain smart. The Lottery gave them the pick instead of Boston who tanked the whole season for Timmy.

Indy should tank this year with George out.

The rules have changed over the years. They can't change the rules for the knicks, the rules were in our favor for years and we never were smart about it. Isiah got Cap-Drunk and created epic failures.

Now the playing field is even. The thing is its set up for teams to retool faster. A great team that developes younger players can't keep them. That makes them available. Gotta have the scouting in place and the space to jump on players.

i would like to know your understanding of how a professional team tanks.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

They sit or trade healthy starters and play young kids on their bench.
