Minnesota doesn't have to trade Love. Minnesota just can't panic. The problem with having max players is if they are unhappy they cause so much problems. As a franchise they need to think about letting him walk and saying to hell with it. They'll have money and they still do have players to build around. It's not like Love made them a playoff team. So no Sweat off their back.

Letting one of the 10 best players in the league walk for nothing is beyond stupid, especially for the T-Wolves who will never interest a superstar type player to sign with them.

Thats why there's no loyalty with the players, fan base, and Owners.

Give melo a little credit for believing in Phil, and helping to build some stability in the organization.

Would you even be commenting on this thread if Kevin Love wasn't demanding a trade? How can you criticize this culture, when the culture has you interested enough to keep track of it all?

Year after year, the Bulls players are sooo overvalued.

Deng is no superstar the way he used to get treatment from media...

The list goes on of overvalued Bulls players over the years:
Kirk Hinrich
Tyrus Thomas
John Salmons
Thabo Sefolosha
Ben Gordon
Andres Nocioni

Everyone of these guys was super-hyped by the media as something special..
Since the stats did not agree with the overhype they would resort to:
________ player is such an intangibles guy that is crucial to winning a championship...
BLAH BLAH BLAH.... Bulls players are ALWAYS overrated year after year...

Hopefully that'll be Jackson's key contribution to the Knicks. Culture can breed that kind of environment where players overachieve or are perceived to be better than they are.

Love is an evil man. Forcing his way of minn and dictating ad trades. We already have Melo running fisher and Phil and dolan and mills. Can Melo share those responsibilities with love? Hard to imagine. Could hitler and musilinni share? History shows no

Wait I thought the rumor was that Love would sign long term with the Cavs, but never said the Cavs were the only team. Either way, you're right and it is still a rumor.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I think Love agreeing only to sign with Cavs has to be inaccurate or a deal would have been done already.
We already know Cavs were willing to deal Wiggins due to his long wait to sign a contract.

From the articles I have read he is trying to force his way to a team of HIS choosing and that is GoldenState.
Only problem is the Warriors are not willing to part with Klay Thompson which is the only player Minny really wants from that roster.

If he is not signed to a contract next offseason he is either going to LA or NY, as GoldenState doesn't have a max slot to sign him outright.

klay is not the only player the want, I would say he's the piece that would make the deal satisfying.

Bulls want Love, but they may want to NOT be in Cleveland either. They might help facilitate a 3 way to keep him out of Ohio.

Love has an opt out after this season so the whole extension thing plays weird. Cavs can get him and ask he opt in. That helps them. if not, as a free agent he can leave if he don't like playing for the LeCav's and they are screwed.

Yes, the scenario is very Melo like based on the fundamentals.

The scenario is similar but not exactly like Melo's Denver situation a few years ago.
The difference is he wanted a max extension last year and was denied because Minny was saving their money for maxing out Rubio.

Love is a superstar in this league where Rubio is just a very good role player up to this point in his career.
Love felt disrespected and decided he was done with the TWolves...
This is a problem of Minnesota's own making.
They put all their eggs in the wrong basket... lol

May very well be....at that time, which was a few years ago. Doubt Minny feels that way now.

Wasnt last year though, he signed his 4 year deal in 2012
