guys...sasha vujevic is not walking through that door. luke walton is not walking through that door. derek fisher is not walking through that door...well...maybe they will :)

every single "disciple" of phil jackson has failed.

unlike disciples of larry brown, greg popavich, rick pitino, etc.

the triangle can only look good if you have 2 of the top 5 players in the league.

jackson's only here to get lebron or durant the year after. maybe he'll be successful? will melo agree to basically waste a full season of his prime next year? would you?

BIG bucket by shump off a nice pass by melo. i like when he finds the open man instead of forcing over two players
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Someone made an interesting post on another board about how The Lakers bought a D-league team when Phil was the coach and used it to implement the triangle and how that maybe the reason why the Knicks went out and bought their own team all of a sudden. I'm not sure how well that help the lakers because I do not remember many rookies having an impact.

Also, I could see Derek Fisher being on the sideline. Then again you have to also think about not only who Phil knows but who Kerr or the future coach knows and respect.

I am really excited about the d league team. I think it is a great move by the Knicks and I hope they use it like the rockets and cavs use their team. The d l is an under utilized resource in my opinion.
