Jimmy: Phil, I'll give you 20 million per and you can have any city dancer at any time
Phil: nice! How about Melo?
Jimmy: Phil, I am a business man and its all about the jerseys. Max it is, deal?
Phil: Hah! Go phuck yourself you little prick! Don't you want the best chance of winning or do you want to sell jerseys?
Jimmy: Ok 25 million?
Phil: no
Jimmy: What will it take?
Phil: one sec, got a click from the Lakers, call you back
CRICKETS
Jimmy: Hello, Patrick? How would you like to be a GM? The offer is 2 million per year and you promise to never talk, at all?
Patrick: Hells yeah!
Jimmy: Ok, Herb will be excited to work under you!

What hold up they said the deal will be final by the end of the week pjax is already committed

People need to stop with this nonsense about Phil playing the Knicks. The Lakers don't want him to be in a similar position in LA. If they wanted him back they would've signed him instead of MDA. They want to run the Lakers without his overbearing presence. Buss and Kupchak don't want to lose control of the team to Phil.

For once NY Knick Fans need to accept that this is happening and it's about the best option we could hope for. Who else could we have brought in that could deal with the weight of this job in this city and Dolan?

The hold up probably has more to do with Phil looking for minority ownership then Melo.

IMO bringing in Phil Jackson is strictly to entice big time free agents in 2015. Riley showed Lebron his championship rings and sold him. I guess they want Phil to pull out his 11 rings.

Best thing to happen to Knicks in yrs...Basketball is not that complicated. You need shooters and people that can run. All the x's and o's are overrated. Riley always has shooters...Phil always had shooter... The Knicks always had ????????? Phil knows what kind of players to get and he will get them. The rest will fall into place.

Has he signed yet? I can't even tell by the news/threads. It sounds like he has committed but not signed.

Either way, to answer the OP's question: hell yes I am excited (if he signs)

LOL, everyone ripping off Nalod's farce conversation format

PJax: So Jim, what's this sh&t about not talking to the media? You really expect me to have any cred and be a corporate toady?
Dolan: Well, we run a tight ship here, Phil
PJax: I've noticed that you're actually running a garbage truck into the ground right now, Jim.
Dolan: Yeah, but...but..Isaiah's a genius!
PJax: Jim, IT's a nice guy, but my dog's forgotten more about winning basketball...
Dolan: Look, Phil, it's different here, I don't have a hot daughter for you to date, and the only celebs we have are facepainters like Spike.
PJax: Money talks, and so will I. Agreed?
Dolan: ummmmm...you're not going to bring Lin back or ask Spree to consult, are you?
PJax: Hell, no!
Dolan: Done. Just don't make fun of my chord selections. Please.
