This deal isn't even realistic, unless Westbrook's injury is very serious and is unable to play this season, and have concerns for ever regaining to his former self
Someone like Rhondo and actually Derrick Rose *because of his MAX salary and 2nd serious injury while basically not playing for a couple years*
The Thunder would be better off amnestying Perkins than use Westbrook to shed his salary in addition to acquiring a poor contract in Raymond Felton and currently Iman Shumpert's value isn't very high
Of course it is worthwhile for The Knick's to do....
Unless OKC gets back Melo
or
We AT LEAST give up 2 future 1st rounders, maybe 3 because of Felton's contract, OKC should not even think about it
They are better off getting expirings than those poor contracts
It is like me suggesting we should trade Chandler for Paul George, Lebron, or CP3
Of course we should do it but why would OKC do such a move that would basically tell Durant to leave OKC and do a full blown rebuild without the draft picks to back it up
Losing Harden while not amnestying Perkins instead for a couple million difference from the max deal
Now if they get rid of Westbrook JUST to get rid of Perkin's salary, without the ability to sign a player with that cap space, trade for a STAR to compensate for him, or multiple role players and draft picks when they have the best record in the league is absurd
Unless Westbrook's injury is VERY serious like a Derrick Rose/Brandon Roy type of injury
