They didn't beat teams like the Spurs on their court., Guys are saying the roster sucks, yea they suck if they put in no freakin effort.

That's all i'm saying. Players and coaches around the association said in watching the Knicks they've lost their spirit.

Uh that means nobody WANTS to play for this coach and owner.

really? are you really going to go there? they have brand new players on their team with no full season to develop chemistry and they kicked our ass pretty bad. dont look at paul pierce and kg as the reasons we lost. they don't play that many mins on a nightly basis and probably didn't against us either. i am not a fan of the "home tank" conspiracy, but ON PAPER, at the current stage of their career, i absolutely think we have a better starting 5.

Exactly.
The team sports on this level is very complicated environment.
When so many things done wrong and rightly so then went wrong the team must be bad. And it is.
Even great teams with great players and coaches hitting ruff spots here and there.
The organization that bad must be in a hole, big stinky fox-hole.
The fact that they put together a couple of wins against good teams reinforced the fact that this team has players on NBA level.
They can play as individuals when motivated. But as a team they stink.
I am positive that when all this players will eventually lend on other teams they will play much better.

Before the season started the SI poll thing said "7th seed and 37 wins".

riiiiiiiight because professionals at your job never need any motivation. woodson hasn't changed at all. he was a stinkingly bad coach last year as well. remember iso-melo? it was smart IQ players like kidd and rasheed that had such a profound effect on this team. once that was gone... woodson's true "talent" started showing.

very few knew how much effect those 2 players had in the locker room. becoming pretty evident now.

So your saying the only differnce was Kidd and Wallace?
What about JR going from 6th man of the year? ANd now he garbage?
What about a healthy IMan who digressed?
What about Bargnani?
What about Metta and K-Marts lack of consistant performance and minutes?
Does Stat figure in any of this?

So basically your saying Woodson was crap last year but having coach Kidd and Rashweed who averaged 14 min per game was the difference?

Hey, Im not saying any coach of a 15-26 team deserves accolades but a guy that goes 18-6, then 54-28 after losing seasons does not deserve to get fired after 41 games given the circumstances surrounding the team.

In Atlanta he coached six seasons and they got better ever year. Their record improved. After 6 years and a bad playoff ouster after getting the 3rd seed the GM thought a new voice could have them do better. He was wrong.

Nalod did not want Mike Woodson as coach. I liked MDA and thought he got a raw deal. But, I thought Woodson did a great job with the team and if you gonna blame, you gotta give credit when it was there.

I see plenty of problems with this team and I don't see where this team is badly coached. Its not easy cuz they are playing badly.
My guess another coach don't do much better if at all.

In ATL he played what they gave him. He don't make the roster. IN NY, he plays what he got. Nalod don't think much of this roster.

Neither did a few others BEFORE the season started.

Kidd and Wallace were the main differences. They had positive influences overall. What does 14 mins of playing time have anything to do with locker room presence? and yes I still maintain the coach was and is crap last year and this year. why do you think he went after guys like kidd/rasheed? coz he knew he cannot keep the locker room in line.
