Does Amare sign here without Walsh and MDA? Does Melo force a trade here with out them?

Amare had no where else to sign. The Suns offered him 5 years with only 3 guaranteed. No one else was offering what the Knicks offered so yeah I think anyone could have been running the Knicks and Amare would have came. He also had to have a reconciliation meeting with D'Antoni. Not sure if Melo comes if Amare isn't in NY though.

Yeah. Stat played like an MVP for half a season until the wheels started coming off. We all knew it was plan B, fans were hungry for some good news, too bad it didn't last long. Looking forward to his contract coming off the books along with Tyson, and maybe Melo. Reading about Houston in D-league and that empty suit Mills as GM now feels like the calm before the storm. What will they do with the cap room? Not encouraged.
