I think he lost respect for Woody after the trying to start JR after the suspension and injury. It was obvious what was going on. I am not saying what Shump is doing is right. I am just saying what I think might be the reason for it.
Shump is in no position to lose respect for anyone..His game has not improved..He has regressed..He really should not be starting TimJr is better right now...
I agree with you on all of those points.
Think that when he fouled Paul George at the end of the Pacers game, and Woody went on to throw him under a bus rather than defend him was the death of their already fractured relationship. Something happened between Shump and Woody in the offseason that started to sour their relationship. They went from Shump buying Woodys old college jersey and getting gifts off his daughter to hating each other before the season even began.
Shump is a player and Woody is the coach..Does this young man have parents...Jettison the mofo...
