Is it the same roster? Injuries play a factor? Roster construction?
These are very important things and while out of emotion fans want to can him, and even the owner the facts/problems don't change. Do you chage the scheme and actually improve the dynamic? Or can it get worse?

.500 can get you in the playoffs in the east.

While Woodson might not ever be the long term answer for a team with championship aspirations I might suggest we take a good look in the mirror and access the situation.

Is woodson to take a mediocre team and get a lot out of them like he did last year? Did he really get the team to play over its heads?
Is woodson the guy to take a contending on paper roster and work the chemistry?
Is woodson the guy to take a young team and develop them?

What is the knicks? I don't think we know, and thus, why change. I don't think H20 brings anything (he is a coaches son) or does Herb that you already got in Woodson.

Does melo say "I want XXXXX and if you get him Im good to stay"? Do we blow it the phuch up for two years and get a "Brad stevens" kind of guy to grow into the job? You think we do a 180 and go in that diretion after we have little in high quality draft picks 2 of the next three years?

Fire woodson might make us feel better and get us talking about PHil Jax but this team is unsettled and I think woodson is the best guy to turn it around for NOW.
