Pretty much everything i've felt about this group of players has came true.

Firstly, they aren't as good as last years group, no one should be disputing that now.

And as I've stated before, I truly cant blame the coach because this isnt his team....Woody likes a vet or two that he chooses and he doesnt have that....Kurt was his guy, as was Sheed, and he completely trusted Kidd, and those guys were instrumental in kick starting the team last year, but none of that is here now.

The team walked into training/preseason with their minds already made up who would take those last spots and two out of three didnt make it due to basketball merit....I like Cole, but he didnt exactly perform well, but he is a good player.

Chris Smith shouldnt be anywhere near an nba franchise.

No TRUE leadership, no one playing ABOVE expectations, and quiet honestly NO HEART.

Say what you will about other team with similar records.....talk to me when they drop HOME GAMES at the rate of these Knicks.

I couldn't watch this last game because it was pre-empted by hockey on MSG where I live but the boxscore and written
play by play probably told the story well enough.

Atlanta FG%-56 (not one single player was forced to shoot badly),
JR 3-18 including 1-9 from 3 limiting Bargnani to only 11 shots.

This last part really bugs me because this is going to be the trend the entire season. Even if JR doesn't start,
he will be there in the fourth quarter. Woodson has proven he will never take him out until the game is out of reach,
allowing him to keep shooting whether he's hot or not because of favoritism. Bargnani has been the most consistent shooter
so get him the damn ball. WAKE UP WOODSON!

That would be step #1 for the recovery of the Knicks.

This just in... THJ waived, JR Smith's uncle signed.

Also, new team policy just announced... orange headbands, wristbands, and sneakers. And sleeves.

And mouthguards.

Dolan is the biggest joke! And people wonder why D'Antoni said I outta here! At least we have a candidate for the scoring title.

Beno has looked like a guy that didn't spend one minute training this off season. Also can't understand why Beno has been so selfish with the minutes he did get. He wasn't looking to run the offense and setup the big guns which is shocking. Be that as it may, if Felton is hurting they need to rest him and make Beno earn his paycheck or at least appeal to his pride.

We have an offense other than the ISO? coulda fooled me. One quote comes to mind where we can do whatever we want on O if we play D.

This contention amongst many here had me quietly amused for awhile. The silly equations of this person is better than that so it means this team is better. When you look at the whole product, how things fit, who has the personalities and the pedigrees, there was no way this group was going to outperform last season's team.

The Curse Of Chris Smith... And Glen Grunwald.

This season was supposed to be the year the renovated Garden, after a billion dollars, would shine. No, money cannot buy you love... Or trust... Which we all know leads to assists.

This roster is poorly constructed. Period. No quality depth at forward or center. Not one point guard who is strong enough to manage the court with an unbiased eye.

Mike Woodson is forced into a corner with upper level mandates to play Amare, who anyone can plainly see is done. Minutes are precious. roster spots are precious. Wasting either is stupid.

NYK Front office continuity is a league-wide joke.

Things are going on behind the scenes, boy I wish we knew.

Maybe something happens(CHANGES) on the west coast trip away from MSG-NYC, this is when people grow a set and start addressing real issues.

I would love to hear Tyson Chandler gives his analysis of the team now!

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

With the money we spent on Prigs & Beno we could have given that total for a better version of both players and saved a roster spot.

Felton i splaying like Garbage this year. I could put up with his ineffectiveness going to the paint, if it wasn't for the 3 to 4 nightly turnovers off his lazy passes.

Why is Aldrich getting NOOOO burn in any meaningful time with Chandler out?
We have no legitimate Center outside of Bargniani that has filled the role better than most expected.
I would make Aldrich the backup Center and keep Kenyon at PF. We are getting killed on the inside.

The team does pretty well when we have ball movement, but the damn ISO basketball always seems to dominate the 2nd half of games.
Our 3rd quarter play this year is just horrible. Every game I have to pray our lead is at least 10 to withstand the incompetence of our 3rd Quarter play.
3rd quarter the ball just sticks anytime JR, Melo, & HJR touch the ball. Then we get back to passing in the 4th quarter and we make a run.

In the end all of these critiques are a reflection of the inefficient coaching.
The favoritism is ridiculous. JR should have been benched this last game 1/2 way through the 4th.
He just keeps jacking shots without evening looking to pass once.

We were very good once D'Anonti left and I was afraid at the time that Woodson was just reaping the offensive rewards of Pringles' system.
He is a defensive minded coach and I get that, but he has done NOTHING with his offensive sets at all this year.
I think he is still trying to ride the free flowing offense D'Antoni left behind.
The problem is we have so many new players (that were never coached by D'Anonti offensively) that they done' know what to do out there in the freelance offense the Knicks are trying to run.

Woodson needs to coach set plays at least in the beginning of the season before the players "GET IT" and find their own niche in the game.
If he does not pick it up we really need Jerry Sloan in here....

Beno got the vet minimum. The Knicks can sign as many vet mini deals as they want. The only money in play would be the 1.4 mil Pablo got with the portion of the mmle. I don't know that there was a better vet mini point or a better guy available for 1.4 mil. I do agree about getting Aldridge out there. Unless the Knicks take the minutes cap off of Martin it seems like Cole should be playing.

Shaun Livingston immediately came to mind, but for min salary cant expect alot, now if we're talking players excluding pg you could probably look straight to the Lakers roster as they have a lot of good min salary pieces.
