If Shrimp open his mouse and said what he is thinking about this team and how its run; and I can see him doing this; he is gone.
And we get whatever will be given for him.
Dolan is allergic to real man. They shine and he sucks.
He heeds to be around other suckers and malcontents to look a bit more respectable.

Faried sucks as a defender of any position.

Very true.

Nothing but a younger Reggie Evans.

Lol, I said the same thing in another post.

You were right. I was really hoping you would do that poll.

Let's not go crazy here. I wouldn't do this trade but Faried averages a highly efficient 15 points per 36 minutes. Evans has no offensive game and averages an inefficient, single digit production per 36. Faried also blocks more shots.

Just stop other than hustle faried is garbage.

No defense at all and scores only on putbacks.

per 36? can he even play 30?

You're ignoring the data and just resorting to rhetoric

Faried plays in a high powered offense. He is only 6'6". He does have huge hands a great wingspan.

He measured at 6'7.5" before the nba draft (and I don't know if he was full grown then).

No he measuered 6'6" without shoes. Follow the link.

I'm sure they value shumpert more but they know he has great trade value and smith doesn't.

How can somebody win six man of the year award, sign a cap friendly contract....able to create his own shot, still fairly young in his prime, and not be a solid trading chip.

I think thats why they started him....Eventhough he clearly wasn't ready to start. And I'm not sure he ever had a good game starting, with Melo in the line up. I always thought his game was better suited off the bench when he has the green light. Melo and Bargs will take all the shots....What is JR going to do, play defense? This team is a mess....Should've never traded Ewing....

Gallo and Chandler are great great supporting players. Them on this team and Lin would have been MUCH better than where we are now.
And, we would have assets. Just think what we could have gotten with those players.

I never thought the Melo trade would do anything for us. Because he never filled any of our needs. Same with Bargs. But between the both of them, we traded away all of our flexibility.....for what? More points?

Watching Shump miss that layup early in the third quarter and watching his man burn him on the back door play about a minute later made me think about the negatives brought up about him prior to the draft. It might be the smart move to trade Shump. Has he overcome his mental lapses, poor shot selection and playmaking that were the criticisms of his game pre-draft? I don't think so. He has a ton of talent but the argument for not taking him in the first round involved his focus, and decision making. He was and is a tremendous athelete that can play great defense when focused. Has he evolved? Not so sure. Also, is this the right place for him to evolve? The Knicks have Hardaway and Jr. If they can fill a need by trading Shump they should consider doing it. I am just not sure Mills is the guy to make that trade.

Don't know whats going on with Shump, but his mind looks out of the game, and has done for a while. I think Woody's lost him.

I've been praising Shumpert as much as anyone, but he does look like his head is somewhere else at times. Shump reverts back to his streetball game when he gets frustrated instead of making quick decisions. Don't want to trade him because the rest of the team with the exception of Metta has been phoning it in lately.

Woodson has to take charge of this team and snap them out of this funk. As I said in the game thread, this team needs an us against the world mentality, to rally together, and fight their way out of this.

If that's the case then we need to be on the phone with Cleveland, Milwaukee, New Orleans, and Washington about Melo.

That's selling low. I still wish we had traded Melo when he was winning those player of the month awards.
