How many playoff games did Lin help Houston win over OKC? ZERO.

Patrick Beverley is a better PG fit for Houston than Lin until proven otherwise. Lin would be good on like a suck ass team like a Philly or Orlando or a backup to Nash in LA.

Beverly plays well both ways. He's better than Lin and Felton combined.

Beverly has low bball IQ though. You know how many times he crashed the boards when he should have been hanging back to protect fast breaks? This happened all the time. He also misses a lot of open shooters.

He's holding his man to low production. So this can't be happening enough to be relevant. Whatever he's doing on the defensive end, it's working a little better than Lin and Felton do.

I don't care about Lin - he isn't a Knick anymore and I believe the contract is why he is no longer with us. I don't wish him bad or anything, but Linsanity is long over and we have bigger things to worry about.

Better than not caring.

Rockets better than knicks now?

I wonder are the same people who are salary conscious over Lin the same people who like Melo? Because Melo is one of the worst deals in basketball, bar none.

Lin goes to a kid's camp admitting his faults in a very adult manner, and people are ragging on him? Are you guys for real?

Rose is not the answer.

Yes. Melo makes more than Lebron and people keep bringing up LIN's contract. When in reality It Is shorter than Felton's and at 25 Lin has upside. Felton is what he is

Yea, but Raymond Felton wasn't supposed to save New York Basketball like Jeremy "Houston's Savior" Lin.

and he makes half as much.

And signed through 2016 whereas Lin signed through 2015. We are over the cap through 2015

Lin is 25.

i agree. Not sure why the ny press keeps covering this. Lin has talked about this subject before and says the same thing.

i have seen this kid beverley in person: he is straight up greased lightning. world class quickness, very impressive to witness. obviously you hope he is coachable vis a vis decision-making and genuine PG ball handling in which case he will surpass many point guards beyond lin and felton. but there's the rub: basketball is a game of skill and mind, especially in the backcourt. two years in college and then a european stint and he remains a question mark. if the knicks were interested in patient development then beverley would be a prime candidate.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I didn't have a problem with what Lin said, athletes have a great podium to speak from when trying to help develop kids in their character and that's what Lin has.

Lin is still young, now all he has to do is ball out!

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Linsanity was a nice story (i even got his jersey) but i think it was more of a byproduct of the Dantoni system. even chris duhon looked good in that system. Hes an average NBA point guard; just like Ray felton is. id rather have a guard with experience and toughness like Ray. I dont think Lin has much upside but hes not a bad player. A starter on a bad team, a solid Jarret-Jack like backup on a good team

just my $0.02

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

the guy had free rain when insanity began, he had no one to throw the ball to..He was just going around screens in a spread offense, finding the open man or getting to the FT line. no amare or melo..when they came back it died down and considerably..

He doesn't have that same green light that he had under MDA, and just like melo stopped his free flow, harden poses a similar story..I like lins skills and IQ better then feltons toughness..

At the end of the day, there's very few players in the NBA worth 15mill..that contract was strickly to stop the Knicks from resigning him, it had very little to do with lins actual worth

Lin was recovering from knee surgery. Rockets traded for harden. Lin had better year than Felton. Lin is signed through 2015. felton through 2016. Lin is 25.

Because LIN's contract seems to be the only thing Lin haters keep falling back on. When Felton's contract is actually worse and more of a burden to the New York knicks

Yes that 3+ million is really going to hurt the Knicks in 2015 or 2016. At that price he is a nice trade asset or could make the slide to back up. Felton's contract length and salary is not an issue either way.

People act like the books have to be at zero.
