Tyson's play in the playoffs, his lack of leadership in the playoffs and his being a 'leader' in the media without taking ownership for his own play has me down on him. I will root for him if he is a knick but I lost a lot of respect for him last spring and his play was horrible.

I think the strategic way to play Tyson is to reduce his regular season minutes and ask him to shoot that 14 footer he is very capable of hitting. In the season Dallas won the championship Tysone avg 5 minutes LESS than he did last year and was able to hold up during the playoffs. I would keep him around 25 minutes and just ask him to have confidence once or twice a game in his 14 footer without changing his regular game. Its already proven that a team with Chandler at center can win a chip. But I think relying on him for 33+ and consider him a pseudo all star that he is not--then thats a mistake. We need guys like Amare Tyson and Kenyon to play less--we need to use all of our assets. This team is basically set for next season for the most part--lets just see where it goes.

We don't lose rebounding and not much defense Humphies numbers proved that. We still can run pick and rolls but Kris can actually hit the jumper and finish with something other than a dunk. Bargnani becomes the center pulling opposing centers out the paint. Melo is back to the 3.

Brandon Bass would be great as that extra big. Amare can fill in at center. Metta is in the mix too at the 3/4. Kmart in the mix at 4/5.

2 positions I think we need to upgrade the most are PG and C, then I would like to add a better all round LEGIT SF

Pau Gasol 19.3m (expiring that is one of the top passing Center is the league that has an all round game with legit C size with all round games to be one of our top 3 offensive players to team up with Melo/JR/AB, would fit very well with his ability to post up, mid range game, and initiate our offense

would need a 3rd team to facilitate trade though

Iman Shumpert 1.8m or Tim Hardway JR 1.2m
Raymond Felton 4.2m (would give us more cap space for 2015 FA class)
Tyson Chandler 14.1m
