Whether he signs with the Knicks or China, that's his prerogative. But when every little step he takes out as the Knicks back up point, he won't be on his own.

Jared Zwerling ‏@JaredZwerling 3h
The #Knicks are meeting today to discuss a potential contract for Bobby Brown. At this point, as I said, it's the Knicks or China for Brown.

I would probably take a shot on Austin Daye over CJ Leslie at this point. At least he has one NBA level skill (three-point shooting)that the team can use.

I agree. Daye is only 25.

Not sure, but I haven't really watched him play. However since the number one thing when he was drafted was that he needed to get stronger, and yet he doesn't look like he's gained a single lb in 5 years, that may have something to do with it. Looks like he has the same personal trainer as Tayshon Prince!

I'm hoping for Bobby brown...he commands millions already over seas. He would have to take a big pay cut to play for us. Knicks haven't had a guy this skilled and athletic at the point since rod Strickland

From Jared:
"My agent [Aaron Mintz] said the Knicks' front office is going to meet about [an offer] today, and I'm supposed to hear back from them today," Brown told ESPNNewYork.com by phone from Los Angeles, where he has been working out at USC and Loyola Marymount.

In the article Brown also said he would play for less to stay in the nba.

Yeah not 20 mill...maybe one mill per year. Dunno what china is willing to pay.

Seems to be what a lot of PG's seem to shoot these days, unfortunately. Not sure you can expect better than that from a 3rd string PG on the minimum.

Anyways after Zwerling said he expected the Knicks to decide whether to make an offer last night, Bobby Browns most recent tweet is:

Maybe means we've made him an offer... or perhaps a cheese dream...

Hmm, looking like either we haven't made him an offer or he's about to find out if we have, as he's just tweeted these:

Hope for the best, Prepare for the worst....

I just wanna make my mother and father proud..

Humble and Motivated...

@ZenaFoster well my worst isn't that bad lol just my 2nd option 😁

I wonder if they are going with Murry. Begley tweeted yesterday that the Knicks were working on a contract for him.

I just have a feeling a trade is in the works....the knicks are only working with minimum money so if they wanted to sign someone they would have done it....maybe they are waiting on a deal

Judging the stupidity of the franchise, I'd say it is with Shump...
