![]() Here's something to put summer league in perspective. Derrick Rose was horrendous in his first year: http://www.nba.com/media/bulls/cumulative_080711.pdf.
Nikoloz Tskitishvili averaged nearly 26 points a game one year: http://www.nba.com/summerleague2008/history.html Anthony Randolph averages about 27 points, 9 rebounds, two steals and three blocks one year: http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/basketball/fba/story?page=nbaoffseason090722 While it's easy to write a player off or hype one up, gotta remember it's only SL. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

Absolutely true--but I think most players should show some of theirbonafides/ goods here and you get a good sense of how players might start out. Derek Rose was going to be good and a guy like Randolph could be good--I think for the most case it gives you a good clip of what the player might be in year 1. Its also much easier for guys who have played in the NBA to come back into the sl and play well--Im looking at year 1 guys. RIP Crushalot😞
