They mortgaged the future to win now. Yet another team who has leapfrogged us for next season, joining Chicago, Miami, Indiana.

This team as constructed is going nowhere. We must make a move with Chandler or Felton to get better, to do something. If we don't, 2013-14 will be a waste of a season.

Not really. Brooklyn just takes Boston's spot.

Garnett is ancient. I mean I'd love to have him but Im more concerned with not giving Denver a lottery pick next year.

you really believe this?

you put those two nba champions out there with williams and johnson and they both will toe the line. never sell complete players short. they'll eclipse the knicks if this happens. all kidd has to do is keep both of them at around 28 minutes a game and sandbag to the 5th or 6th seed. kidd will make williams a better decision maker. they would be a far more intriguing team team and more fun to watch i guarantee it.

the nets may not win a title but they will have bragging rights in new york. certain knick fans who don't care about winning titles will have to give the nets their due. hey if you can't win it all at least make the local rival look worse.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Pierce and Garnett won as much as Chandler and Kidd.

Anyway they will be better then the knicks thats for sure. they can compete with that team. They have a 2 year window until it falls apart though for 5 seasons

I think this past year was our best shot. Im not saying we would have beaten miami but we did match up with them well. I think a few years from now we might look back at 2013 as a missed oppurtunity. We will be a playoff team next year but we are probably looking at a 2nd round exit at best

I wish the Nets the best. But I won't go celebrating like it's the death march for the Knicks. Get this through your heads. Dolan loves Melo so say what you want complain what you want but Melo is here to stay. We will build around him. He is our franchise player. Now you may not like that but it is what it is. We will have a better season that last season. The big mistake was made by giving Amare 5 years. We should have given him 3 with 2 option years in our favor.

We wont have a better season. last season was our chance to make some noise in the post season. Both rose and granger were out and ironically it didnt even matter because the bulls and pacers kicked our ass

It seems like to me you are just enjoying this. I will wait till the season begins. I will say one thing though. It's time for Amare and Camby to get up off thier azz and play some ball and if they can't they should retire. We gave Camby all that money.

This is our worst nightmare. Woody likes to double who ever gets the ball in the post. We can not double off anyone on then Nets now. They all can score if left open.

Don't worry about it. If Woody keeps playing that way he won't make it through a half season. If Copeland don't come back it will be part because of Woody. Woody humiliated that kid by not playing him and how stupid could the Knicks be by not having an option year on Copeland.

I hate the nets but their new starting line-up is definitely stronger than ours until their old guys go down. Hello 5th seed we need to make moves, I don't know what management was thinking we should have grabbed at least one more pick.

Then you should be proud of the season after loosing for 13 years. Yes mistakes were made. The biggest one was the Amare deal. We talk about they can't play together. Hell they never had a chance to really play together as a team. That Brooklyn team looks real good. And one thing for sure it will put butts in the seats. I beleive that if Amare breaks down again next season the Knicks will be in trouble.

I never said i wasnt proud od the team so i dont know where you got that from. I was very happy with 54 wins. However i am allowed to be critical. The Knicks could have done a lot better in the post season especially since we are a win now team. Also the bulls and pacers gave us bigtime trouble last year and they were missing their top players so you have to expect them to be even tougher

I think it probably makes them better for about a year but that's it. And I'm not even sure how much better. This is a team that just lost in the 1st round to a broken down Bulls team and I don't see them improving that much. And who knows if they'll be able to stay healthy. Also, who the **** knows how good of a coach Kidd will be. Honestly, I think they would've been better off if they had just stood pat 3 seasons ago and not traded for DWill. Right now they'd potentially be building around Brook Lopez, Derrick Favors, and Damian Lillard with cap space to make other moves. Now, if they can stay healthy they might be as good as we were last season.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come
